I think Google could do a lot of interesting things with GoDaddy, but I don't see a deal happening anytime soon.

If that happens, I will move my 600+ domains to other registrar. Google already know more than enough about me.

Google has sloppy record for customer care.
See AdSense or Adwords support - they just suck.

As of now we can Call GoDaddy if we have issues.

If google buy them we have a machine that send us the faq... After 2 or 3 business days.

    It is a NOOOOOOOOOOOO

Well, even if G is trying to sweep up godaddy because godaddy has a great search engine idea, that G didn't pick up on, I hope Mr. Parsons doesn't sell. Like jimkarter said, G already knows too much about all of us. Unfortunately Google has turned into an "evil" company.

I would hope they do not buy out godaddy. GoDaddy is a horrible service...

If GoDaddy is a publicly traded company, then Bob Parsons probably doesn't have a say in the matter. If Google buys enough stock to control the company, then they own it (and us).

so true, but as jim said above, google does know a lot about us. And since both companies have customer care issues, I think yahoo should buy out godaddy!! They have super customer care!

Yahoo do not have super customer care, a large percentage of their staff don't even know what a serp is, can't resolve issues and think the way to make money is to spend loads on top key phrases not niches, at least G's employees know how to act and have the relevant knowledge.

If Yahoo is making money with their domain and web hosting business, why not Google? Competition is a good thing. Although I still use my Yahoo mail, I thank Gmail for making it much better.

Google has a history now of buying out great ideas at an early start. GoDaddy is no early start. Google does interfaces in the unique Google way - good luck presenting GoDaddy interface in a clean fashion.

Google already is an accredited regsitrar, but I don't think we'll see them offering domains any time soon.

I dont see how google would benefit from buying godaddy , its just not a good advertising venue , unless they are thinking of selling advertising on the expired domains pages .
