Please BAN "eliztrvs" , He ripped me .. Still Active on DP forums ~fairy

I had a very bad experience on DP recently, A member knows as "eliztrvs" on DP , with profile as http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=84313

Ripped me in Buy, Sale , Trade forum !

He wanted to buy MB from me , on cost of paypal, and send me $ 35 in 2 transactions by paypal.

Everything went good for the trade time, but in matter of 5 days, paypal opened investigation and logged a case against me ( by paypal itself ) ,

I replied to paypal that we traded on DP forums, but money was reversed by paypal to his account.

I tried to contact him on his msn ( ) and he said , he will look into this case , and then eventually blocked me on msn !

I request all members here to not trade with him and blacklist on internet, and even ask moderators to ban him asap as i see him active here.

I even PM'ed him, but he finally RIPPED me !!

~ help me if anyone can .....

I guess that was most inappropriate reply ever seen on DP. I wanted all people to know that he is a ripper. So all others are saved from it !

Sorry for your loss Fairy. Maybe PayPal weren't feeling too sympathetic because trading like this is against their rules.

The mods won't want to get involved in a private dispute between members - it's one word against another at the moment. It may help if you post some screenshot evidence of the dodgy transactions and PMs.

That must of really sucked, maybe you should wait a while. You might get your money back.

Wow, this is ironic. I had a bad encounter with someone here at DP before too and when I submitted a dispute for my payment that I made upfront for a coding job that wasn't ever completed... I was stuck and unable to retrieve the lost funds. Seems like Paypal only screws the good guys. I won't give names right now to avoid infractions.

 

He has very bad iTrader. Respond by leaving him negative iTrader and hopefully others will be more cautious.

 

I can understand mate, but we need to tell people that who is scammer btw us. So others are saved

Absolutely right, You should leave as a negative itrade rank in his account so others will not do any business with him in future, And before doing any dealing with any guy check the itrade and his posts/topics. Its just my opinion

Why DP has lot's of scammers..?? everyday. .atleast 1-3 persons are getting scammed. Sorry for your loss... I hope everything will be fine. Thanks for letting us know.

 

I do not know what people get from scamming ? And why does paypal does not gives correct decisions

Trading money via different sites is against the law. I think you should get a bank account and withdraw money there and spend with whoever then.

I think it is someone expressing their displeasure that you may yourself be breaking the forum rules by making this dispute public. Just a hunch. It was obviously quite a senior member because they had enough rep power to leave you red even here in the General Chat forum.
