what is the meaning of a unique and fresh content? The one that hasnt been posted on the web anytime?right?
I dont really understand how much explaination you need for the words unique and fresh. To build content like that, you need to write it yourself or outsource it. You can use copyscape.com to check whether the content is original on the web.
For me, fresh and unique content provides readers with NEW value - not something they have read before that contains basically the same concepts: just "re-written".
I think the others have summed it up nicely: "Fresh and unique" are buzz words for something that is completely original and never used online (or off.) I'd also say that rewriting the work of someone else does NOT produce "fresh and unique" content....plus its illegal and unethical. Rebecca
I'd also add that "fresh" can means timely depending on the topic. For example, if you're writing about tax laws, fresh content would refer to the tax laws that apply to the current tax year. This is important for niches where new information is frequently released, especially business, finance, politics, entertainment, sports, health, and science. There may be more, but those are the ones I could think of immediately.
Fresh means new (or newer). For instance, if you were to go eat sushi, you'd want fresh fish and not fish that's months old. Unique is tricky in regards to web content. Are you talking about unique globally or unique locally? Are you talking about ideas or concrete words? For instance, if I write an article about last night's Angels vs. Mariners game, it's unique locally (my site) in every way, but the idea isn't unique globally. However, the article's content (words it contains) is unique globally.
It has to do with more than just what's been online before. For example, taking an article from a magazine that isn't online and posting it on your site isn't unique content. It would also be illegal. Unique content is something that doesn't exist at all; not just in the online world. Remember... unique to search engines doesn't necessarily mean it's unique content.
Unique and fresh content is original and new content. Content that is written in your own words, without scraping from other websites is unique. If you are writing about 'hypertension', you may find all the info online but writing it in your style is what makes it unique. Fresh content is obviously content that is new. Details about the latest drug that has been approved for hypertension or results of the latest medical research, is all considered to be fresh content.
This is a great point... even if it looks fresh to copyscape and google, your readers will notice if it's recycled garbage. The key is to address a new problem, or an old problem in a new way - and therefore get truly unique content that will set your sites well above the rest.
