I agree, then why does the OP blame a religion that may have had nothing to do with it?

Using it to spread false hate instead of trying to help the child is ;) Anything using this horrible act to help your hate filled agenda is as bad IMHO.
Who is trying to justify it? I don't see a single person trying to justify it. As far as approving or disapproving that was not the point, I however highly doubt he approves of it.

Better then your complete lack of logic. You are using this horrible cruel act to spread your hate, this burned child instead of reaching out to help him you use his burns and pain as a way to spread your hate, even when it's false.

You will have to ask the OP as I can't presume to know what's in his head, but this is what I can deduce

Are there any Christians, Buddhists, Taoists etc in Iraq? Probably not, so by reason of deduction, who does that leave? Muslims. And what ideology do muslims follow? Islam.

    Pretty simple, huh

It's not a false hate. Ly2 has on many occasions openly voiced his dislike of muslims. Right or wrong? Eh, not my place, nor yours for that matter, to say, though, your idea that a dislike or even hate of muslims is as bad as burning a child is, at best disingenuous.

That is exactly the point. The lack of outrage speaks volumes.

Uhh Caveman #1 you are best to remove the post above as lol it's funny to say the least. No Christians hey?

#2 So every rape by a Christian is by the religion.

Wow talk about not even worth a debate, in all seriousness do some reading and come back ;)

'false hate' I never sad the hate was false, the post of it being done by the religion is 'false'
In other words the reason behind the hate filled post is incorrect as there is no factual basis for it.

There are Christians in Iraq and lately it is about 150,000 more of them in form of American soldiers.

Wasn't some American soldiers who raped a teenage girl and then killed and burned her family including a child to cover up their crime? Does this mean that all Christians or Americans are rapists or murderers?

What a moron, you are fast approaching d16man level of stupidity.

I bet all things wrong with you are also due to the religion of peace. Your debts, your troubles, your site troubles, your seo troubles, blah blah blah blah are also due to the religion of peace.

That's about usual for gstring. In the past, he's also defended those that buried women up to their necks and stoned to death...for the crime of being raped.

Hell, he wouldn't even say a bad word about muslims that beheaded Christian girls, even when given an open opportunity to do so.

He makes me sick too. That's why I have the terrorist supporting, ball sniffing, alqaida spokesman on ignore.

The queen of cheer leaders squad has spoken and everyone knows that yellow belly ex-corporal knows more than Bush and the head of NSA, so it must be true.

I am still waiting for your excuse about why you don't serve in a war that you support. Come on Gtech just admit that you are a coward, confession is good for the soul and you are not saying anything new, since everyone here is already aware what a yellow belly you are.

Keep clowning and I am still laughing at you. :D

Ly thanks to people like you on the ''other'' side, we are where we are today.

Do you really care about that kid? No, you do not. You do not give a shit. All you are doing here is spreading hate for the ''religion of peace.''

Grim's comment was very excessive, I definitely expect you to be better than someone who is able to do such a horrible act. However, you are no angel at all. Not even close. And his logic was definitely ''nicer'' than yours.

Here, the kid whose family has been destroyed by this was probably a Muslim who comes from a Muslim family. They pray to the same Allah of the terrorists, who in their opinion is definitely not the one allowing such things to happen. I am against many things Islam came up with and I no longer believe in it. However, the vast majority of ''Muslims'' are peace-loving people who only want to live their lives. Moderate Muslims, who form the absolute majority of Muslims, take the good of the Koran (it DOES have many teachings that are good) and leave the bad. The Koran is full of contradictions and can be interpreted the way you like. Since the vast majority are people like YOU who care about their lives and want to live and let live, the interpretation of most does not support acts of subhumans like the one you are mentioning here. They cover up the bad, not because they want to cover it up, but because they are absolutely sure that is not what their religion means. They are absolutely sure that things are taken out of context or should be interpreted differently. Use that to YOUR advantage.

The Muslim world IS uneducated now. It IS sexist. It IS racist. It has many things that are wrong, but the vast majority are not the merciless criminals you post so hard so show they are. No, they are not. They are the victims of such acts. They ARE stupid for not realizing the bad their religion has, they ARE stupid for not taking criticism of such a flawed religion, but stupid does not have the same meaning of criminal.

Instead of working so hard to spread hate, work half as hard to spread the opposite. What you are doing now could be the seed of the Western-version of Al-Qaida. Instead of creating more enemies, take advantage of the things you share and work together to seed out the cancer that is threatening all of us. If you can not do that, then please do not keep doing what you are doing. It will lead to a situation that is even worse.

#1 It's a good thing you don't make the rules. Can you provide the number of Christian, Buddhist and Taoist Iraqis?

Some people just don't get it. It has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with ideology.

It was never a debate. I would suggest you do the same.:)

I'll repeat it once again for the cheap seats (and those that are a little slow). It's not about religion, it's about IDEOLOGY

Sure there are. And I'll bet they all have the red Knights Templar Cross on their chest too

I also see you still haven't condemned the actual attack on the child, but have only tried to insinuate that the U.S. soldiers did it.

You're an idiot. Come back to reality or don't. I don't really care as I've put you on ignore as well.

I don't agree with the points you made about Muslims being "STUPID", I feel offended. Muslim people have as much intelligence as any other joe. So please do not take your personal experiences and label a whole group of people. I have had experiences with many races/religions/communities, I don't go around and label them "STUPID". Other than that, I agree with the rest of your post.

Paul, you are very welcome buddy. I am glad you found it informative and I appreciate the kind words.

M5love, you have all the right in the world to disagree, and I wish people would only disagree instead of hate. I think you could be stupid at one thing and brilliant at an other. I definitely feel the Muslim world is being stupid when they take no criticism or acknowledge no mistakes. Moderate Muslims are the main victims of Radical Islam. Radical Islam, whether you like it or not, is supported by verses in the Koran and by books and religious leaders.

Saying they are stupid when it comes to this does not mean they are stupid at everything. All my family members are Muslims after all. They are brilliant at many things, but when it comes to these issues, I think they are utterly stupid. A quick look at the Muslim world tells you where taking no criticism and acknowledging no mistakes got us.

That's not correct, at all. While I've never seen any Buddhists or Taoists, there are many Christians in Iraq...
    Verify:

I'll agree that this is disgusting, but what does it have to do with Islam?

Again, I will disagree with you here. Criticism is thrown left and right at the Muslim world and millions have responded peacefully. Millions have condemned all terrorist attacks. As a Muslim you cannot say there's such a thing as "Moderate Muslim".. That's just another label that came into existent in the last 100 years, by who? Western culture. Don't say "oh here he goes again, blaming the west".. Yes I do blame the West for brainwashing youth like you, to believe that there actually is a group called "Moderate Muslims".. In Islam, your either a Muslim or NOT! Simple as that. Of course you can be religious and non-religious, that's whole different matter. But there's no such thing as being "moderate". You cannot take 1 part of the Quran and leave everything else or take 99% of it and leave 1% out. Your not considered Muslim if you do that. These so called "Moderate" Muslims, are just confused. They were not brought up in an Islamic environment. I bet this is your case. In regards to the terrorists using verses to justify their actions, yes I agree with you that they do this BUT does that mean the Quran is wrong? No. It's just the way you interpret it. If it were as wrong as you think it is, you would see billions of people carrying out terrorist attacks. Seriously, you have to think outside of the little box the society has put you in. There's corruption in all religions, that does not mean it comes from the religion. It comes from the people that are part of said religion.

I am sure your family is much more brilliant than you think. Calling them utterly stupid based on your personal views doesn't make sense. Have you tried talking to a scholar about the issues you have faced? Try discussing with a scholar and then come back to the discussion. I am a 19 year old male that grew up in Canada. I know what challenges we as Muslims face in societies like these where you have the freedom to do ANYTHING you like. It's tough to follow the religion and also live in society. But that doesn't mean it's impossible. That doesn't mean you can leave one out. I go to college, socialize, go out, chill and go to the mosque, pray, attend Islamic lectures..etc It's all part of life. You have to take everything into perspective before laying the finger on your own family.

I hope you understand what I write (since this is the web) and don't take it personal. :)

Indeed it's not false hate, it's real hate. I dislike religion and I hate Islam. No reason to lie about it, that's simply how I feel. Just as I feel this way, there are 1000's of people on DP that feel the same way about other things.

There are people here who hate Christians, Atheists, Jews, America, Iraq, Blacks, republicans, democrats, Whites, Asians, you get the idea. Yet most of them beat around the bush with it, but why?

If you hate something, say you don't like it. It's like the people that post anti-Israel or anti-American stuff. They will never admit to hating whatever it is they're posting about. Instead they pretend they are just being informative and looking for everyone elses opinions. Why be dishonest about it?

Well it was pretty personal wasn't it? :) Anyway mine will be as well. However, be sure that all I want is the good for you, me, and the rest of humanity.

Muslims never accept criticism. Your post is another testimony that confirms that. Everything goes wrong in the Muslim world because of the ''West.'' Everything goes wrong in the Muslim world because of the West's agendas, attacks, and evil plans.

Did you mean to say Muslims have condoned all terrorist attacks? The more religious a Muslim is, the more they condone terrorism. The ones who condemn it are the ''moderate'' ones, or the ''less religious'' ones if you prefer. Or the-not-Muslims-who-call-themselves-Muslims according your percentage definition. Millions went out to protest against some damn cartoons and savagely burned embassies. It was then when I realized that what I was defending was cruelty and stupidity, because I used to be like you, trying to tell people how wonderful this religion is. I wish they were this aggressive against the terrorists who are supposedly not doing what Islam asks people to do and are killing hundreds everyday. Where are they?

Regarding terrorists using verses from the Koran to support terrorism. Does it mean the Koran is wrong? It definitely means that. If it is not wrong for having such cruel and senseless verses, it is wrong for being so vague and making everything open to interpretation. You have ''fight them'' and ''fight them'' and ''fight them'' repeated all over again in the Koran. Why? And do not tell me they were only asked to fight during the first years of Islam. The Koran claims to be the eternal guide and source of information for humanity. It wants to be the governor of humanity. When you are an all-powerful and an all-knowing God, you should know that including today's battle's horrible news in a book that you want to guide humanity for at least the +1400 years that have already passed since Islam's birth is a no-no.

Do not worry about me thinking in a little box. Most of my thinking during my 19 years has been ''outside the box'' in every since of the word. I would probably be your worst example here. I have been to many places, listened to many people, and talked to many. I would be fighting along some criminal subhumans in Iraq now had I not thought outside the box.

I agree in that there is corruption in every religion. I do not believe in any of them after all. But to compare the ''corruption'' of Islam nowadays to any other is simply ridiculous. Also, Muslims tend to point out things like molesting children by priests when talking about this. The problem here is that Koranic verses clearly support the acts of the terrorist Muslim while no biblical verses support the act of the child-molesting Christian. And although both are sickening, I would rather have the corrupted exploit a child than have them behead one. The first can recover and would only have a bad memory, the second can not and his family would have the savage image in their minds forever.

How much did you bet about me not being raised in a religious environment? I was raised in a very religious environment. You are right, the ''West'' DID get my brain washed. And that is a good thing. In fact, it is the best thing that ever happened to me. When you see others outdoing you in everything, smiling in the streets instead of angrily looking at each other, enjoying life instead of ridiculously suppressing themselves, having laws that are 1000 times closer to equality than yours, respecting a human only for being a human, and denouncing sexism and racism, YOU should start thinking outside the little box that your Muslim society has put you in. You should ask why and try to find logical answers. Seeing all the good of the ''other'' side should certainly get the dirt in your brain washed if you do not think inside a little box.

You should have not understood what I said about my family. I think I clearly explained that a person can be utterly stupid at one thing and extremely brilliant at another in my opinion. When it comes to this subject, they are utterly stupid until I am logically convinced that Islam is the way.

Although you contradicted yourself by saying there is a ''more religious'' and ''less religious'' Muslim and then saying you either follow it all or not, I also believe in that if you follow 99% of Islam and leave 1% you are not a real Muslim. That is my only defense for Muslims: That they do not follow everything the Koran asks them to follow, and hence they do not necessarily support terrorism and are not dangerous. If they did, we would find ourselves in a much deeper hole now.

I find it sad that you find it challenging to live in a free society. What is the ANYTHING you are afraid of? Dancing or seeing a guy walking with that scary thing that is called a female? You do not have the freedom to kill others. You do not have the freedom to incite hatred. You do not have the freedom to maltreat others because they do not share the same faith. You do not have the freedom to be sexist. You do not have the freedom to be racist. Anything bad the missed? They certainly live a happier life than anyone in any Muslim country. They contribute 1000000 times more to humanity than Muslims do. In a Muslim state, you would be probably jailed and spit on if you are a foreigner saying your problems are caused by the Islamic culture or Muslims. I think that anyone blaming the west for everything and still live in a western country is a hypocrite and should be kicked out. They provide you with a quality of life that is a thousand times better, treat you equally, and give you the chance to start a new life and all you have to say is how they are the cause of all the problems and how freedom is bad. I would ask anybody who thinks this way to please leave or pay 3 times as much as others pay for everything. A Muslim state would require a Christian or the follower of any other religion to never say a word against them and to pay the Gizeya. I think the West should do the same with Muslims who keep talking about how bad it is. Require them to never say anything bad about it again and pay some extra tax. Or just leave.
