The second link in my sig is a site I created and although I have never submit to any directories or engines I've been getting about 300-400 UV per day. Today however I recieved 2000 visitors and about 160 click on adsense. Just want to know how can I get the best out of this site. What should I put on it that will convert the best for the type of traffic I'm getting?

    Thanks, Tracy

It seems your site is just 2 month old, are you sure you are getting 2000 visitor a day ? anyway for some reason you may be getting it :) what i will suggest you to signup some affiliate program so that your visitor will bring you some extra revenue for you or else sell some ad space at your site.

If you are getting 2000 visitors a day, then I would start getting some real advertising directly from companies. That's where the real money is.

Its not that hard as many people think :p I managed to get around 1000 a day in about 3 weeks ;) Just matters how you do it.

And as for how to monetize it, try some affiliate programs to do with music - ring tones might work best and you can get some decent amount from there.

Where are you getting all those visitors from? I can only guess that some other sites have confused your site with the official one for the show and linked to it (probably a lot of visitors were trying to find out how to audition). Anyway, it looks like you've got it pretty well covered with Adsense ads. I'd imagine you get a decent CTR, as most of the ads I saw were relevant. A few music-related affiliate programs might do well on this site, but I'm not sure if I'd replace the Adsense with them.

Yeah it looks terrible in FF I just have to pay someone to fix it for me. ALL Visitors are from SE mainly Yahoo! I'm not lying about how many visitors I'm getting just to make a thread here on DP :)
This isn't the only site I have that 2 mo. old getting decent SE traffic.
But here's a copy and paste from analytics for the 26th.
All traffic sources sent 1,756 visits

And so far the 27th (still early):
All traffic sources sent 446 visits

Looks like it'll be another 2k visitors today.
Back to the question at hand. I will replace the AFF ads with ringtoneor should I put them where my clickbank ads are (header logo) Haven't made a penny with click bank.

I will add ringtones any other suggestions? I want to take AFF off and clickbank and replace them with $$ links. Or should I put adsense in the header where the clickbank is?

    Thanks for your help.

Contact private advertiers, aka companies in your industry. You'l be suprised how many times you can work out a private arrangement.

Traffic for the 27th (today) is rising
All traffic sources sent 1,125 visits

contacting advertiser in my area? Like Music stores? Well I made this site (first site I've ever made) for the purpose of selling it. I just want to make as much as I can before I sell it.

Odd seeing a site getting that much traffic have an Alexa over 3,000,000 and only a couple backlinks... very odd.

Affiliate programs would probably be a good option. Trying to sell advertising or links on site with that kind of Alexa/PR is going to be tough. Analytics can be spoofed, or spun with proxy traffic, popunders etc.

Prob some good seo and finding a new niche. The site has a link from 2 Pr 3 Sources (1 being DP). It ranks on the first page in yahoo for making the band 4. Congrats on the traffic and your site

It's just a tight niche...I know nothing about SEO but I did the best I could. There are no popunders..Like I said I havent advertised it or submitted to any search engines. I paid for some stumbles last week but I didnt see any resulkts from that. The only links to it is from my other sites.
Here's the stats thus far today
All traffic sources sent 1,529 visits and a little over 125 clicks
going to get over 2k for the day.

Is ringtones the best campaign? Is there any others I can use?

Today is going to end just a little over 3,200 UV for the day. I have made a few changes in the site. I replaced the clickbank with "Ringtones and payday loans" Is this good?
Also I removed AFF and added some CJ and clickbank links ( just on the homepage until I get feedback). Please give me some feedback on the placement and possible conversions. I know this is the home of the experts and webmaster gurus so any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks again, Tracy

What more puzzled me that you got 160 click on adsense in single day all of sudden! I think you should be suspicious about this .

Actually I got over 220 adsense click what should I be suspicious about? Got a lot of fan mail today.
I understand it's messed up in firefox but all I want to know if the changes I made will do any good? Let's try to stay on the topic if possible.

The only reason why all of the sudden I'm getting the clicks because I have moved to the first page of yahoo for my search terms. Hope that clear things up. Funny though...it seems like the amount per click has went down :(

Please give me some feedback on the ads and their placements

Yeah before you get too far ahead of yourself I'd fix it in firefox first. It's hard to give feedback on the ads and their placement when you can't see it the way you are intending.
