Hi all The link will go on a 5PR page... but is it worth paying the $199/year for it? Did anyone buy any link from them before, and was it worth the $199? Your view is appreciated
Whats the position of the link? How much traffic does the site get? How related to yours is the site? How many other links are there on the site? What kind of cpm do you get, IS the traffic you would get worth 199$
Thank you for your reply •The link will probably be at the bottom of the page, •The page is very related to my site •There are maybe 500 paid and non paid links on the page
It depends on what you want, do you want traffic from that site or page rank etc so that you get more search engine traffic? If you want more search engine traffic I would look at spending that on 3 or 4 other directories http://www.avivadirectory.com/strongest-directories/
FYI, if you submit there and dont pay they will send you an email in about a week telling you to continue with the submission for 20% off. So if you do submit and dont have a coupon code just do what I said to save you $40.
It depends on your site. Commercial sites that struggle to attract links should go for it. Blogs shouldn't bother.
Thank you all for your feedback We already getting very good paid traffic (PPC) from business.com, we only need to increase our page rank and we thought it will be good to us in term of SEO. I think we will go for it… Does anyone know where to get coupon code for business.com? Thanks
If you have the money, go for it. You might also consider getting a link in the yahoo directory. I don't know where to get any coupon codes but aaron nimicks suggestion looked great.
I personally include the Business.com submission as a part of all my new and existing link building clients. The links are very authoritative and provide more then one backlink upon purchase. I use Yahoo Site Explorer to monitor how fast purchased links actually show up and everytime with Business.com, the new links present within 72 hours.
If you're on a tight budget, I only recommend buying links in web directories if your niche is very competitive. I've been successful in less competitive niches w/o spending any money on links or directories.
Nice link, thanks for that one. Though the list is mostly paid, many do have some nice juice, and less dilution due to the hundreds of links per page that free dir's typically have.
in my opinion, it does not worth. you can use that money buying high pr blog posts or the other cheap directory submission
