Contest for ANYONE with Photoshop! - All entrants get something!

I thought I'd try something a little fun.

The winner of this contest will be given an advertising spot on the right sidebar of the Minty Ferret for the month of September. Along with this being a $25 value (check out visitor stats here) I will also design a 160x240 banner for you to fit there, if you don't have one already. Please note that I will not accept any gambling, porn, adult, etc. sites - if you're in doubt ask before submitting.

The contest runs like this. You either 1) follow one of the tutorials and submit your final result/image (please note that creativity is encouraged! You don't need to follow the tutorial exactly, in fact I'd love to see images that totally deviate from the actual tutorial) or 2) use something from the Freebies section in a design (maybe use the navigation bars for a template design? Just throwing ideas out there).

Here is a good example of a derivative work. The original tutorial is a Diagonal Stripes tutorial. Here is what someone made:



Following the same steps, they duplicated and flipped the diagonal line to make crosses instead of stripes.

EVERYONE WHO ENTERS (AND CONSENTS TO THE FOLLOWING) WILL RECEIVE SOMETHING.
When you post an image to this contest, you give me the permission to display it in an upcoming blog post. This post will basically be a gallery of images readers have made following my tutorials (the above image is an example). Please include your name and website link in your entry, because I WILL link back to your website, providing you with a backlink. If you'd rather only compete for the banner advertising and do NOT want your work to appear on my site, please say so after your entry and I will respect that.
