I am planning to start a new adsense site with huge traffic. ( projected ) Will a CMS or a wordpress blog hosted on my server do better ? What script can i use else then blogging script ( like wordpress ) etc. for a article site , ( a good CMS ) What should be my source of traffic ? Except bookmarking sites What article site interests more of internet surfers ?
you better start with a blogger blog.. If you have your own hosting and domain, you better go for wordpress. The best and free way to get traffic is search engines like google yahoo or msn.
ok, niche.. you can go for Medical, Financial Services or other high paying niche if you want a good revenue out of it.
if you search around with wordpress then you will know wordpress is the GrandKing for all the other cms software...
I've seen some sites on joomla, but didnt have SEO optimized urls. Seems like you'd be shooting yourself in the foot by using that unless there's a plugin.
I dont think it would help you very much. I'm a programmer so I write all custom tools. They are not very user friendly.
Fairy, you confused me now at the last minute lol. I tried looking at WP as option for CMS and it looks good. Drupal slows down when there is huge traffic. am confused myself which one to go for Let me know when u decide.
