OMG i'm not even happy, instead, im sooo worried and paranoid coz maybe google's gonna flag my account or something... You see, I own 5 domains. 3 are high traffic and the 2 are small. Only around 6-7k uniques/day. For the past 3 days, i've been receiving tons and tons of traffic from one of my 2 smaller sites. And i mean tons of it! It's all from Orkut! I know it's google owned and all, but im just concerned about my adsense account. That smaller site just received more than 40k uniques and still going up, most of the traffic is from Orkut! From 6-7k to 40k in a snap! it received 8k adsense clicks. Should i report this to google?! Can anyone tell me where to email them for the appropriate issue/concern? I usually generate around 1-1.2 million ad impressions per day but recently im getting more than 1.8 million ad impressions! Yes my earnings soared sky high but it's not making me happy at all. Origin of traffic @ Orkut is mostly from Brazil & India... Please help!

thanks, just emailed them... anybody else just received tons of traffic from Orkut? I heard they just enabled html codes that's why Orkut people are using 'em like crazy...

I wouldn't be concerned about traffic from Orkut, but better safe than sorry.. FYI - i noticed a few hits from Orkut today too.. nothing like the amount you saw though.
yup i really don't know why, it's not even supposed to be a site for Orkut, it's a friendster flash comments site. I didnt even have the keyword "orkut" in my meta tags... I wish i knew, i really don't know. I didnt even do anything to that site, the last time i updated that was like 5 months ago. Will keep you guys posted when Google responds to my email.. Hope there are more more insights/comments/suggestions from my fellow DP'ers about this... All replies appreciated...
If theres nothing wrong you will receive that same crap copy and paste reply from Google which they send to everyone. It goes like " Thanks for letting us know about the recent activity on your site. Rest assured that we've noted your input, and we'll continue to monitor the situation closely. I understand that you're concerned about keeping your account in good standing....... " At least you ll feel better with it. .
You Spammed Orkut I guess because You wont get Traffic from Orkut without Spamming You shld tell the truth to Google before they ban u
you're funny. read my previous posts. of course not. it's a friendster site. i don't even have an active orkut account! i'm not that desperate also, i'm applying for a premium publisher account @ Adsense since i generate more than 28 million impressions/month even before this traffic from Orkut. *i actually haven't heard about orkut if i havent seen it @ Alexa's global top 10 sites*
I'm also receiving a lot of traffic from orkut on one of my sites, it is the biggest source of traffic, I don't get as much as you but almost 50% of my traffic origins from there. I didn't do anything about it, people just started posting link to my site on their profile, i guess they just like it a lot. I don't think Google should punish you because it's not your fault that people like your site, if they flag your site they will visit it, they will see it is not a MFA site and they will go away and let you earn your money
8k ad clicks is a lot, if the traffics from brazil be warned, it could be fake. As long as you contact google everything should be alright, just tell them the truth about everything with stats, and details and they should be find with things.
