I found these pics and stories from a Reddit link (the story is apparently from 2006) that details the lives of workers and survivors of 9/11 and how they are coping psychologically and health-wise after 9/11. Most are on multiple medications for breathing related problems and multiple exposures to chemicals. These are kind of the forgotten victims of 9/11.. http://www.sohoblues.com/9-11-Still-Killing.html
The scumbags (controlling Bush) don't care for all the poor souls that died to allow them (the people controlling Bush) to take over Iraq mate, I hardly think they care anything about the knock on effects of the false flag operation. As you say they are the "forgotten victims" just like the GI's coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan with hideous injurys and limbs missing. All forgotten heroes.
Maybe you have something here...if america would remember why we were fighting these islamic fascists, then maybe support for the war would increase and we could get it all over...but as it is, to many people think we are fighting a war for oil, instead of fighting for our freedoms that were taken away from about 3000 people on 9/11....but your crowd would probably perfer us to forget why we are fighting, that way Alex Jones can try to think for more people other than yourself.
How would more people supporting the war help bring it to an end any sooner? We've already employed a "Surge" tactic. You think we should send more troops over? Do you understand why the fighting is occurring? Have you researched the history of Islam? Do you really think we can step in and solve violence that's been there for about 1,300 years?
I'll never understand why people can't grasp the concept that this is a war being fought on Al Queda's terms. We're losing lives, the dollar is eroding, confidence in the government is shaken, and civil liberties have been compromised in the name of security. This is an ideal outcome for Bin Laden, hiding somewhere in Pakistan and likely feeling pretty good about himself that his morning of attacks have bred years of disruption and loss for the American people.
Neither do the people who live in an alternative state of reality. Instead they simply use their deaths to spread hatred about an administration they don't like because the administration kills & hunts down their 'admired ones' giving them a prison sentence or a bullet to the skull. Those people who died & were injured on 9/11 deserve more than anti-American or or anti-bush people using their misery as a tool. They were real people with lives that suffered incomprehensible pain & torture, other death.
Hear hear. Watching this AGS post is painful. He runs into any thread no matter how tenuous his grasp on the subject is to drop his "pearls of wisdom", which are essentially small parcels of conspiracy theories wrapped together in an over-arching hatred of the U.S. Too bad this guy can't get a job and get to work.
i herd that there are lots of people with breathing related problems due to the dust/chemicals.. never imagined that that could happen
If people were to support the war, and to let their govt. representatives know that they support it, then maybe congress would get off their arse and support it as well...get the troops what they need and get the job done. The US kicked butt in WW2 because the nation supported it. Look at Vietnam though, when the nation didn't support it, it resulted in a loss. If we are going to fight, we need to fight together.
Can you imagine the crap those buildings were made out of? Everything from asbestos on. Breathing it is no good.
1) what job are we trying to get done? quell the violence? 2) I'm not saying our troops have everything, but you really think more equipment with stop the 1,300 year old religious war? In WWII, we fought a conventional war. Vietnam was another enemy using guerrilla tactics. Our army trains for conventional warfare. Until last year when a few generals wrote "The Counterinsurgency Field Manual", the Army hadn't had any guerrilla handbook since 1986's FM 90-8...
Reminds me of the Michael Moore movie sicko, those guys paid the price but didn't got very little in return, sad really.
I think many people opposing this war, and I count myself in this, oppose it because they see no connection with 9/11, or the hunt for its perpetrators; and believe it has fractured the mission, not aided it. Turning to the war itself, I have analyzed and analyzed what I could of what this Presidency was thinking. I must conclude that it was a massive blunder, made from a position of arrogance. We merely put the match to the sectarian rift (as well as other historically-embedded schisms endemic to Iraqi society) and had nothing in place to deal with it once latent tensions were made patent. I find this an unconscionable squandering of lives. I love America, I honor service people - as I was one - and I love my family above all else. I would end the murderous bastard Bin Ladn with my own hands, were he in my reach. I am no "effete liberal snob," but a deeply concerned American, pressing for his right - a government of accountability.
