I just logged in to AuctionAds and found that the site has been redesigned. There is now a status panel visible as soon as you log in and go to 'My Account'. No other new features that I could see. You might want to wait a bit before logging in as the data has not been ported over yet. You'll see a lot of zeros where there used to impressions, clicks, and revenue. Ads are on the blink also so there must be something big going on. Let's hope for the best!
Lets hope they give us our money that we earned for that last week of july as mine shows that i didnt earn a dime and before that last week I was earning atleast $100 a day.
Too little too late...I gave up on AuctionAds a long time ago...It all started mid-July when earnings disappeared, completely Seems to me like they have their priorities out of order. Don't you think they should make sure that their reporting actually works before they start making it look "pretty"?
These "new" ads would never fit in my sites. They might be good for blogs though. Lets hope for the best that with this new layout, the tracking issues will be fixed soon too.
All they have done is made the site look different, who cares really when there reporting isn't working. I want my clicks and earnings for the last 2 months sorted!
I just emailed their support and got a reply in 10 min, which was nice. I told them the site redesign was nice but they should be fixing their reporting and previous 2 months click and earnings before anything else. They replied: I replied telling them they haven't fixed anything and that July and August are still wrong. All I want is what is rightfully mine... I know my clicks should be a lot more than what the reports are telling (from previous history) and therefore my earnings have been SEVERELY effected.
Thats the same thing I thought & clicked right over to make sure the old ads still worked. If they take the old ads away I'll need to drop the program. Now that they have the new site layout maybe they can focus on Customer Support & actually fixing the palce.
Don't you think the priorities are wrong? I mean look we could all be wrong but all they need to do is post an entry on their blog and let everyone know what's going on, then there wouldn't be so much bitching. I know with my businesses, including AdToll, all customers want is to be kept in the loop. They want to feel like they are in control and not being controlled by me. AuctionAds has a lot to learn about customer service if you ask me.
I just tried to build an ad with the new layout. I don't like the new layout. So I switched back to the classic layout. It is just sitting there looking for items based on my keywords. I also don't like the change they made to the color selector. So, for my post today I loaded up Ebay/CJ ads instead of Auction Ads. Disappointing because I am earning more on commissions per sale with Auction Ads than Ebay/CJ.
Has anybodyinstrumented their site to verify if clicks are being counted properly? AA now says the tracking is fixed. But it's still showing 1/6 the CTR I was seeing prior to mid-July.

They told me the same thing and I agree its showing FAR LESS CLICK then what I was in June. It's not right.... it's way off.
The new ads and gaudy AA logo aren't very useful. They stick out in a bad way. The colors overpower the ebay images. I tried the code out and got untargeted ads, so it's back to waiting for them to get their priorities straight. Right now, it looks like they are back to selling the program, not supporting the publishers.
I like that they have updated and are adding new features, as for the previous problems, it sucks that I may have missed out on earning but it appears to be fixed and I will be using them, why let past problems stop you from earning money when the problems have been fixed.
My 'Monthly Stats' don't match the report. I'll give'm a few days to get the bugs out of the data. Fixing the distorted photos in the 120x600 ad is a big plus. Yes, the new widget is ugggggggggggggly!
The new ads are cool... but 90% of people won't implement them because they aren't standard sizes. I would like to - but can't.
