Thanks for the tips chris! Have to work on http://www.websitebidding.com/ with some nice template and deep links
You need to register for the forum, and enter your phpLB lisence ID in your profile settings. That section of the forum if for customers only. As for some stuff : www.zorg-links.com/buy.html -you only enter bid amount once, and then confirm it a page later (no typing in your bid twice) -guidelines shown on submit page -deep links -longer descriptions -META Keywords & Descriptions for submitted links -A good selection of categories Think i meet the criteria. Only problem is i had started to write a blog post with pretty much everything you wrote You beat me to the publish button
Hello Chris i got 1 matching guidelines you pointed. http://www.biddingwebdirectory.net/ Backlinks: Google 316 ~ Yahoo 12151 Top 12 for Keyword Bidding Web Directory 3 deep links not have to place bids twice long description and only 1 image snapshoot for listings good selection of categories I hope good to submit
Thanks for the tips... I can't apply all the tips as i'm not using phplb but feel free to submit to my bidding directory. Its ranking high in google on a range of bid keywords Bid All Your Links i can give examples if you like
Excellent tips and thanks for submitting Alive Blog to Hits Delivered For sure these are the golden words:
Even though I don't have bid directory, I still read the complete post. I think there can be one more addition to these Tips. "If you are using auto approval mod, make sure at the end of the day, all listings are in proper categories. Edit whenever it's necessary" I actually made a mistake once while submitting and my link was added to "Arts" category. I didn't notice and so did the owner. I had to mail him after 3 weeks to correct it. PS. I will actually recommend not to use Auto Approval (or what ever it is called) and approve after proper review. Just my $0.02
Actually, no. I did not submit the new listing. Only increased a couple existing. When you add categories, I will add the new ones...
hey..i was rereading your blog post(i have it bookmarked as i have all helpful tips) and i corrected a few things on DirecBid however i was wondering a few things.. 1.You commented about a blog catagory, and i have 1 on my site, but can someone suggest other catagories that are needed for a directory of any kind? 2.My site is one of the free defaults, although its in the works for a custom one..Am i hurting myself with massive promotions by not having a custom template now?any suggestions will work
Thanks for your bid at www.urllinking.com. Please check the links over there. You can check at www.3wlead.com This is also a nice bidding directory with some PR.
I will let someone else reply to you on #1, but as for #2, I think using a free template is perfectly fine. I just think you might want to go with a different one. I hope to soon get some into the blog.
Every possible error has now been fixed in Bams Bidding Web Directory. Thanks for your recent submissions chris. Lemme know if you want deep links added to your earlier submissions made when the directory had just started, il add the same for ya. Regards.
#1 - Look around at other bid directories. See how many they categories they have, perhaps add some more. #2 - It may not hurt you to not have a template, but you need to get one ASAP. When i got my custom theme installed, submissions trippled. It will definately help you.
I have a few questions.... I want to switch to categories in my directory but a: how do I know for sure what category members want to go into. b: what to do about the 'letter categores' won't this ruin the indexed pages... Where do you find mods? There are only one or two on the phplb site.... Thanks!
