Have you officially volunteered for his campaign?

I don't understand the question. Are you asking if I am a Ron Paul supporter or if I am a member of the campaign/volunteer staff?

The latter. I already know you're a supporter from your posts, obviously.

I thought his question was easy to understand...is it that difficult for you? Maybe that is why you are so pro-Paul?

Not staff. Not a volunteer. I'm not even in a MeetUp Group!

I'm just interested in talking about the guy I like, in the forum I talk about politics in.

I'd like to see more DPers present their candidate of choice and discuss their policies and stances. Teach me why someone else is a better choice for President (without character assassinating my guy). :)

Wouldn't it make more sense to get involved IRL and promote this guy? Most of the people in this forum already have their minds made up. Ron Paul needs your help in the real world to convince "actual Americans" who can vote to vote for him.

RP needs you, a lot more than DP does! So get out there and get involved!

Most of the people in this forum may have their minds made up. I'm not here to convert anyone. Just because some of the folks here who like Paul may not be Americans, that doesn't mean we should bypass discussing him.

And there are quite a few RP supporters here, so it makes at least as much sense to post his campaign news as it does to post about people being burned alive by Islam in some other country.

Between you and I, the most fascinating thing about Paul's campaign to me, as a netizen, is how powerful his viral marketing is. I haven't quite figured out if it is being orchestrated, or if it is a legitimate grassroots movement. But as a webmaster, publisher and marketer, I find it interesting to follow.

I mean, wouldn't that be an incredible endorsement of the internet as an instrument of social change if a successful candidate could use it as a foundation for support?
