I am...i just can't force myself to do stuff.. i kept overeating, do stuff that is bad to my health, waste time on DP, not working on my project..everyday i get depress...and the next day i do it again How can one be tougher to himself
Set goals, make lists, and hope for the best. I find if I become more organized I can push myself to do things worthwhile, while cancelling out things that are negative to my life. It might not work for everyone, but it's worth a shot, no?
done all those, i even bought book and a PDA...but later i just stop using it and went back to my old self...
Set the time for each work you are doing and i think we wont go in depression mood and we can easily complete the work
The key to not getting depressed is to set realist goals dont say i will make 10,000 buks today when you only think the max you could make is $10.
It seems like you're seriously lacking in the self control area. You also seem to lack a great deal of discipline. Yes, when you give in to doing things you know are bad, you are mentally weak. However, this doesn't mean you always have to be that way. For me, I look at it as a life and death situation. You either make it, or you die. A good book you might want to pick up is "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. It talks about success, and it explains why so many people are not successful in life. Personally, I have a great deal of mental strength, especially when it comes to the way I handle money. I follow an ironclad budget, and I only eat out a certain number of times per month. If you want to become successful on the Internet, or with anything, you need to have discipline, determination, and the ability to keep pushing forward when it seems you're going no where.
You can setup your own private blog and write whatever you have in your mind. Or you can write a small booklet explaining how you can overcome weakness.
I found setting myself targets and doing more exercise helped a lot, whether it be cardio or weight training as it gives you a lot more focus in other parts of your life.
Agreed! This is called lack of Willpower. All you need to do is to kill your wishes (not all but few) and you will be on right track to get rid of this problem. That's the toughest part (to kill wishes) but it surely helps in organizing. I myself am facing this problem for a long time and I know why I ain't successful yet but still I can't control this. Maybe it's the time to take it seriously
You think your life is comfortable and I think otherwise but still I don't work and waste time on things I shouldn't be doing. I guess we both should work something out
I'm with you. I go through periods where I'm unmotivated. I've found that you must for create incentives for yourself. If you do something, like cleaning or doing your bills, then you can reward yourself with something else. Also, it helps to find things that are fun about doing certain chores and think about that. Don't let yourself stay in a downward spiral. Make a list of your worst habits and as soon as you notice yourself going back to doing them, stop and change direction. They say it takes 21 days to break a habit and create a new one.
I also lack focus sometimes, but set aside goals what I would like to achieve for the day to help me get things done.

I'm the same way. Something bad happened to me about 5 years ago, and ever since then I've lost alot of motivation to do stuff. More importantly I haven't lost the motivation to live(and never touched drugs or alcohol), but I've tried to be more organize, but it works for only 5 minutes at best. I'm surprise I can currently make wordpress themes, but that's a difficult task for myself especially when I run into errors.
