I am in the process of building one of my General Directory, that i using 3.2 phpLD. The design is done and the category structure is being updated and dealt with but most importantly i need a list of Mods available for phpld 3.2. I've seen a list on the Eonte Blog but i need Mod's made by the owners and whose install instructions are available on there own sites. So far i need: FOR DETAILS PAGE SE Friendly Details Page Mod. Social Bookmarking on details page. Google,Yahoo,MSN indexed page on details page SERP's power in the above search engines on detail page. Page strength and whois info checker. Screenshot (thumbnail) of the URL. Related sites or resources. FOR RECENT LISTINGS Mini Thumbnail of recent listing Please suggest as many as FREE and PAID Mod's for a PHPLD 3.2 General Directory along with the URL's ~ will really appreciate it! Thanks

First build proper directory, unique categories, rewrited URLs with unique titles and descriptions. Then think of mods. Whatever - you can preview some of my phplinkdirectory mods. Seems some like A-Z links, Pagerank stats are very popular for phpld. Both come with rewrited URLs and seo-friendly pagination. Also link popularity is nice addition to detail page. And directory sitemap is definetely worth having. If you ever need advertising system - I have 2 advanced mods for that. There is more, smaller mods. Some can be preety useful. Once you'll have older and strong directory - I can suggest my latest automated Link Renew mod. Thanks.
You can get a Social Bookmarking mod from the link in my signature complete with install instructions. There are others available too which might interest you. As for the Thumbnail, that is freely available code which you can find all over the place, try search on the PHP Link Directory forum. darge's link above is where you will find the Link Popularity mod. As for the rest, you will have to search the listing pages such as Eonte which you already have and perhaps My Web Searches Blog. HTH
I'm sorry I posted only about my mods. But why shouldn't I Still they are very popular. Of course there are more useful mods from other sources . And Social Bookmarking is one of them (I use it too)

The Mods that I will recommend to almost every owner are: Deep Link Mod (Advantage for submitter) Daily Listing Mod (Extra income for directory owner to promote even more) Directory Sitemap (Better for SEO) Link Popularity (Look good on detail page) Alternate Payment Mod (Even though PP is Hot, its always good to give your submitter more options) I think for now, that will do the job

Thanks to everyone for providing the resources. I am not going to implement all of them since it will take me forever, i just need the ones which are needed for a general directory mainly. Currently am planning to put this to a later thought since i am revising,deleting/adding categories , also busy in descriptions and stuff. When all is set and am done, than i will think of installing my favorite ones. Thanks to all who shared the info! Greened
