1. Well if im correct its (geographical) meaning that depending on the government policies set for those type of activities... (In USA Not in UK it might be ok) Not sure though so dont jeprodize your account 2. They scan accounts to see where money is coming from and the BIGGEST thing they check is the URLS submitted and the EMAILS where payment came EX: when you receive your statement. Never heard of "Bingo" referred as gambling... ( I might have to send my mother to rehab ) 3. You learn from seeing others mistakes... If theres a will theres a way Reason i say that is because not many are willing to throw good money away as the gambling community or adult community should not be shunned because of ones belief off whats right and whats wrong Plus they aren't scared to spend in what they want.. ("Money Talks" louder then "Words" ) Paypal is mysterious.. so always "plan ahead" BEFORE you do anything that can jeprodize your main accounts thx malcolm
I asked paypal about this (in general) and here their reply ---------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for contacting PayPal. My name is R#### and I appreciate the opportunity to assist you with your questions regarding text advertisements on your website. You will be able to advertise the gambling/casino site on your website. PayPal does not permit the use of the service to be used to place gambling bets. Since this is an advertisement here will be no violation of the acceptable use policy. It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing PayPal. Sincerely, R#### PayPal Community Support PayPal, an eBay Company --------------------------------------- Hope that helps. My question is : Does accepting gambling/casino links make directories "non family friendly " ?
well since you have to be 18 to enter a casino i would say they shouldnt be in a family friendly directory
I think it does and that is the reason I have decided NO such sites from day one. Infect, I have refunded one such listing that was submitted using e-gold. I just want to have a clean directory.
Reassuring to hear yet another person saying this i was not keen on refunding the casino site that recently top bidded in my Bid All Your Links directory.
You and me both buddy. I think there's some real bogus information being spread by either PayPal or someone else.
Yes I did. When they have all your money, your account shut off, and they tell you to make a change before they'll consider releasing your funds, it doesn't leave much room to negotiate. Now I'm actually thinking about suing them. This is directly affecting my income while allowing others to profit on sales I was told I couldn't complete.
dont be so sure though... A while ago they sent me a threatening email to remove paypal signs from my poker website (which has no gambling done on it - just information), that i had for advertisers to pay with...
