How is pr trend?

I'm wondering how does pr works for a new website? At the first pr update (no pr before), can we go straight to pr3 or something? or it must be 0 at first?

The PR value you obtain depends on the number and quality of backlinks pointing at your site. In theory it could go to any value at the first update, depending on the number of links.

Normally for a new site, the PR display will start as "Not Available". When the first public update occurs, it will change to the true value at that time, which could be anywhere from 0 to 10.

Yes, you can go straight to a high number. I got very lucky (actually worked really hard) one time, and one of my sites jumped from PR0 to PR5 - and it was only 23 days old!

Your site can get any new page rank from 0-10 depending on your optimization and the quality backlinks you have pointing to your website on the first or any next google pagerank update.

Yes, it can jump (and drop) at every PR level in any update, even the first one.

It depend upon how many backlinks are pointing to your site. Google also consider their relevancy and pagerank.

Yes, that has happened to me, but after a few weeks, it went back down to a PR3. Let us know if that happens to you.
