I bid for those sites last week on Ebay.

Why did you close the auction and then try to sell them again?

I'll admit - I had a bit of indecisiveness. But I have decided that I definitely do want to sell them now. This auction will not be pulled. Sorry for the confusion.

Your description here is rather brief to be frank.
From the eBay details I gather that your only expenses are domain rego and one private DNS all totalling to less than $100 / yr. Do I read it right?

    cheers

Yes, that is correct. I have spent nothing on marketing (just using forum signatures to get new users).

If there is anything you would like to know, feel free to post it in the auction (where I'll publicly answer it), or here. Either one works for me. :)

Actually, let me clarify that a bit. There is, of course, a charge for the other domains (resellernerd.com and eseo.biz) included in the auction. But these charges are only $8/year and $9.20/year, respectively.

How come you have them listed on ebay why not just do an auction here?

I believe that selling on EBAY is more secure for the buyer and the seller

To be honest, I've never really tried an auction here, so I don't know how it works. I've used eBay to sell Websites before, so I wanted to stick with something I knew.

    Yes, that too.

any proff of income, why would you sell a site that made over $1000 a year for so cheap? how about traffic and giving more exact details as your details are a little bit confusing. how many domains, what costs are involved, when do they expire, where are they registered etc.

do this and i am sure you will get more $$ for your site.

it says no reserve, and i do not see a BIN, perhaps you should make that a bit more clear too.

I'll be honest with you: this auction is not based on traffic. It is based on number of users and revenue. I can share the traffic stats, however:

Netpreneur Host - 35 unique visitors per day (average)
freehosting300.com - 130 unique visitors per day (average)

The domains included in the auction are:
    netpreneurhost.com - registered at eNom (through ResellersPanel) - expires May 26th, 2010
    netpreneur.us - registered at eNom (through ResellersPanel) - expires August 7th, 2008
freehosting300.com - registered through myownfreehost (again, myownfreehost actually owns the domain - they charge $30 to give you full ownership)
    resellernerd.com - registered at eNom (through ResellersPanel) - expires August 20th, 2008
    checkmypagerank.us - registered at eNom/Netpreneur Host - expires August 4th, 2008
    eseo.biz - registered at GoDaddy - expires August 16th, 2008

Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know. And I am adding all of the above information to the auction now.

Ok, that is indeed strange. I could've sworn I put one on there. But, it is $1,000.

    Yes, BIN is $1,000.

According to eBay, the BIN has disappeared because it does this when the reserve is met. Because I had no reserve, it automatically disappeared with the first bid. Bummer.

What technology are you using to sign up and manage free accounts? Custom script, iPanel, XPanel? Also, can you provide proof of revenue and expenses?

t2000q: Some of them are, not all of them. Of course, unless the service is closed down, there is no reason for them not to stay. I am also willing to stay on as an active participant in the freehosting300 forums, to help keep things going, if the buyer wishes.

    -------------------------------------

Teetster: As explained in the auction, Netpreneur Host is powered by ResellersPanel.com, and freehosting300 is powered by myownfreehost.net. If you visit those two Websites, they'll tell you everything you want to know about their programs.

I can provide proof of revenue for Netpreneur Host. If you send an email to daniel [at] danieljbriere.com, I can email you screenshots. As for freehosting300, because it uses AdSense for revenue, it is against AdSense T&C to show screenshots. However, note that all but 2 of the 9 of my 100% feedbacks on eBay are related to sales of AdSense-monetized Websites.

As for proof of expenses, I'm not going to share receipts, as they have private info on them. However, you can visit www.myownfreehost.net and www.resellerspanel.com to verify the costs there.

    -------------------------------------

topdaytrader: There is no monthly hosting fee. ResellersPanel (resellerspanel.com) is a free reseller hosting program. I am paying $48/year for the domain registration and Private DNS service. myownfreehost.net is also a free reseller/partner hosting program: I am paying $8/year for that domain.
