Well it was to help prevent click fraud. It would record all the clicks and impressions.
It's been proven to be inaccurate though so there really is no point in using it.

That's a good way to go.:)

They stopped production on it because of its inaccuracy.

I've been wondering why people are still using AdLogger and recommending it to others as well.

The creator on http://www.adlogger.org/ clearly states the software in its current state is inaccurate and useless. What is the reason for people to still use it if it doesn't work properly?

Will it still prevent click fraud properly? I heard it wont detect clicks from IE properly (over 70% of all internetters :/), if so it is indeed useless. Any other script to avoid click fraud in a proper way?

    Jerlene; you're apparently invisible ..

It's true - Adlogger is gone, because according to the guy that created it, it's not accurate enough to be useful. The author recommends using ClickAider - but i have not tried it. I use a script called BadBehavior. It wont track clicks, but it will help prevent automated click-bombs..

One of the purposes of these kind of scripts are to actually not get you banned (clickfraud protection). As long as they comply to Google's policy there is no problem.

As long as you do not alter the Adsense code, they are allowed..
