The website's homepage seems al ittle bit too busy for my liking. However, my biggest complaint would be thel inks at the bottom of the design. The standard looking text doesn't really suit well with me. I would probably shrink the text a bit if you are going to go all-caps, and then make it bold. In my opinion, your links should stand out more than your content. Your content is actually bolded, your links aren't (on the about us page). I think that needs to be reversed. Overall, good job though.
A bit crowded. Many of the navigational graphics are blurry. The "arrow" navigation on the beat pages is hard to find. Put it at the top and bottom of the list... what is where folks expect to find it.
really crowded. But I like it apart from that. Seemed to load pretty fast although there is a lot of content. But that'll be cause of the low quality graphics...
Pretty much saying the same thing here. Its a little "crowded" or "busy". Sort the quality of the graphics out and tidy up some of the links and it should look pretty good.
I guess, you could make the width of the whole page a bit larger. And i would change the typo (like in the header for example).
Took a while to load - maybe wrong time of day I'd put a field of color where you have "NEWS", "CONTEST", ETC., to partition the page and identify those sub-headings.
i agree. very slow for me---i have a connection speed of 36k but overall the design is good and fits the the theme of your site very well. also image quality can be a bit higher it seems, but thats just me. good work!
It's very very very very slow here. I don't know if it's all the images, or if it's a bad host, but if I clicked through to the site, I'd have hit my browsers back button before the page finished loading. Web surfers are impatient
