AbWorkouts.org (Ranking 33rd in Google for Ab Workouts) - Huge Search Volume!

The domain was registered in July 2005.

It's currently ranking 33rd for 'ab workouts' on Google.

Last month it had 137 visitors.

A few months ago I was ranking 5th for this term in Google and it was delivering 250 visitors per day from the 'ab workouts' search term alone. This means ranking in the top 3 will deliver 600-1,200 visitors per day of targeted traffic, people looking to build their abs.

Link building isn't my forte therefore it's slipped.

I originally purchased this domain to build a clickbank product around similar to truthaboutabs.com (I don't own that), but I have since done nothing with it except put up an opt-in page - I was waiting for one of my writers to complete an abs guide but they haven't come through, and I'm too busy with ecommerce now to do as I intended with this domain and take it further.

If you know anything about clickbank, you will realize how much truthaboutabs.com is earning given it's gravity of 90! - it wasn't long ago I was ranking 1 position beneath truthaboutabs.com for 'ab workouts'.

This is one for the link builders and 'SEO Artists' out there.

Go figure what you could do with this domain and it's current standing and trust in Google (if they didn't trust it.. it sure as heck wouldn't rank 5th or 33rd). A little bit of link building and work and for the right person this could be goldmine I'm sure.

Traffic for June: 3,352 visitors
Traffic for July: 131 Visitors
Traffic for August up to now: 94 Visitors

so you slipped in rankings for this one term, is that why there is such a significant drop in traffic? How can you justify the BIN you seem to be basing it on "potential" not current performance.

Yeah, when I purchased this domain a while back it was ranking 20 odd, I added unique content and it climbed up to 5th, then I completely neglected it while waiting for a writer to pump out a guide I could sell on it, and it dropped down to 30 odd after a few months of doing nothing with it.

I'm not basing it merely on potential but clearly it has plenty, but more how Google views the domain - i.e. this is not sandboxed for the term 'ab workouts' and the domain has been in Googles index for some years. As I see it, it's carrying a deal of trust, which is where I see the value.

Yeah I can provide those - it's only about 5 messages, taken from the affiliate resource section from truthaboutabs.com (the autoresponder is currently setup to promote his guide as an affiliate).

I ran AdSense briefly for 389 visitors on the site as a test a few months back - it averaged 9p per click, $6.17 in total for 389 visitors.

By the way - I may as well include the e-covers and the initial draft of the sales letter for the guide I mentioned in case you want to find your own ghostwriter and develop a product on it.
