    I think chris's blog to be added as sticky here because there is lots of useful information for submitters as well as directory owners.

    Edit : I got this message after submitting my directory there as free regular listing. "If you're submitting a web directory then please make sure you have created a reciprocal link to this directory also." why ? Is it necessary ?

    I have submitted my site, but I found the image verification difficult to complete. The letters/numbers are bolded and I had a hard time understanding what they were. I finally got it right when the letters/numbers were in regular font.

    So I would recommend reading the link that Richie provided as I know some won't be as patient as I was. :)
