I've used Firefox as my default browser for a few years now, but before FF there was Opera for me, and I liked it. I have both installed now, and would never dare go near IE again.

Opera is nice and fast for browsing, but I don't know... I'm just used to Firefox, although it's been letting me down a lot lately (jams up when I view quicktime videos)

    :)

I am so greatly disappointed with you people who suggested comments along the line of Opera looks so great and is easier to use than Firefox etc....

I believed you and just downloaded it right then, only to find it looks old fashion like internet explorer.
Firefox is not only better to use, it LOOKS better too!

I bet the only people who would mix something like this up, would be mac users. Am I right? because people that use macs don't mind looking at ugly software all day

Ahhh yuck, you have to like what your looking at

I'm a current Firefox user, but I plan on trying out Opera in the next few days. I'm just so sick of Firefox hogging my memory. I'd like to run several other programs besides my browser. It's a problem they should have addressed a long time ago, but since they haven't I'm making a switch.

Opera is most protected from intrusions. Exploits, Hacks and dangerous codes. My choice.

    Firefox !

Why ? it have many plugins which you can install by your requirement.

what I really don't like in opera, it's is proxy, because using proxy with opera is really uncomfortable.

Considering the proxy setting is the same as in other browsers, ie put in the proxy details in the proxy settings, not sure what you are talking about.

I use Opera from my USB stick in multiple proxy locations with no issues.
