Indians Help!!!!!! Moneybookers Question

Hi all,

I am looking to add a bank account to my moneybookers account to upload funds. Does any INDIAN has tried there hands on it? I have accounts with SBI,ICICI and HDFC. Is it safe to upload funds? How much time does it takes usually? Someone please enlighten me.

you need bank branch with provide swift .these bank branches are only available in big cities like delhi, mumbai, chennai, bangalore etc.better go with sbi.find branch with swift here http://www.sbi.co.in/branchlocator.jsp

I'm not indian but I know it is safe to upload funds to Moneybookers. All you need is to follow the procedure given at their upload money page. But your name on moneybookers must be exactly same as on your bank account or else you won't be able to upload money.

It takes 5-7 business days (usually quick) to upload funds to your Moneybookers accountl.

I have never tried to upload funds but yes, I received funds to my bank account successfully so many times and that is within 3 days.

Pass on your experience of uploading funds to moneybookers.......

 

I think you can upload funds from your bank account if your bank branch is providing SWIFT facility..

Of course it is safe to deposit funds in moneybookers. Its one of the biggest online exchanges.

 

You could say! Because Moneybookers doesn't accept payments from any bank account that is not with the same name as your moneybookers account. So you can this is verification. You just need to send them payment from your account (WIRE) and once they get it your bank account is verified.

I am in New york and i want to activate my bank account so i have to ssend a small deposit from my bank to moneybookers but my bank do not have any swift code its routing number here wat shud i do?

 

Without a SWIFT Code you won't be able to do any uploads/withdrawals from your moneybookers as swift code is the unique Identity unmber of your bank account. If they don't get how will they be able to track the branch you want your money be sent to?

my bank says it dosn't have a swift code or not familar with it in the US its routing number

 

Then I guess this is the case with your bank:

IF so, then you will be unable to upload/withdraw funds to/from your moneybookers account.

Additionally you can check swift codes for US banks here so this shows US banks does have swift codes. It's your bank that does not have swift code because most likely it gets it's payment via another bank.
