I knew several people....in fact one friend whose parents are hippies and smoke dope and she is so straight and never touched it. PS At least if they're only smoking pot and not taking f**ked up drugs like ice, speed, heroin or other killer drugs. Worst side effect of hooch is they will fall asleep and wake up refreshed...no hangover
Not always the case. I have two cousins, brothers, who both grew up watching my uncle and aunt smoke. Now one of them is a dealer/heavy smoker and the other won't touch the stuff but still hangs around people who do. Another friend of mine, years back, stole all of her dads stash and smoked us all up.. ... Man that was some good stuff.. LOL And yet another friend of mine from NE area knows that her parents get high daily, always have, always will. She too smokes weed weekly, she is 30 years old and niether her or her parents will ever admit to each other that they smoke pot or are aware that the other does.. LOL crazy huh?
i would make them get a job if they wanna smoke. if they like it enough to pay well for it, then thats good work ethic, right?
drink as much booze and smoke as much weed you can infront of them and then show them what they will look like in 30 years or so! works a treat I hear!
I woudnt put up with it personally, im tired of people saying it does no harm, grow up ffs. Have you ever spoke to a hash head after he/she has been smoking it for 5-10 years!!! There life is pathetic, the way they talk, there attitude, no get up and go about them.... Drugs are for losers, if you smoke weed and you think its ok, then your a loser too... FACT
Exactly, advising your kid about this stuff will only give them another reason to start smoking weed (if the advise is negative on it of course).
Btw, tell your kid not to do it. Tell them it makes you lazy and get fat and sit around the house. And tell your kid that it makes you kinda dumb too. I have rarely ever known a really intelligent toker.
I agree however that is not what this thread is about. Both should be consumed in moderation and only socially. Someone who smokes pot once or twice a month is totally fine if you ask me. Just as someone who enjoys a few drinks once or twice a month at most. Too much of a good thing, no matter what, will have bad effects. Just so I'm clear, I do support the legalization. I think marijuana has many, many uses both medicinal and products. And I also believe it will reduce crime and arrests and tax payers money. I do not support underaged smoking <21. And I encourage consumption over smoking anyday as you are not polluting your lungs.

Find out where they're hiding the stuff and steal it. When you come down off your high, go up to their room and tell them you had to take their stash away because it's illegal to have it in the house.

Interesting comment coming from someone promoting a strong alcoholic drink in their username......alcohol does more damage to your body and other's lives.....I have 2 close relatives that died from alcohol abuse. If you abuse anything then yes its going to be bad for you and lead to your downfall. However me 'promoting' bacardirum in my username has nothing to do with this I highly doubt your a secret agent Mr Bond. Ask any doctor and they will tell you what amounts are safe to drink, its called units, and everyone has a set amount of units that can be consumed in a week. Cannabis does lead to stronger drugs, one day your happy getting your weed from your dealer, sometime later your dealer is telling you about the latest sh*t he just got and is pushing it on you. Talk with any addict and 97.6% of the time they first started to use cannabis. Everyone I know who smokes dope is not mentally there one way or the other, everyone I know who has a nice drink every once in a while is. Regarding Richard Branson and co, you think if you have money you cant be a loser?
