The joy of it is that when you create a report you also create a subdomain with that scammers name or company. I bought this site from someone and Im still working out the bugs and looking for ideas. Very nice! I saw this the other day I think, but it had a different design. This one is much more appealing. I love the idea of these sites, although the personal attacks can get out of hand sometimes and lead to libel and defamation lawsuits, so watch out.
Thanks and you are right. In order for the site to work im setting up and approval system. Also the reports will be researched as best they can. I def dont want this to be some personal attack site.I just like the fact the the subdomain created will say company.scammed.us just love it. thanks for the review!!!

You pay them half up front, then wait for the work. Well it never comes! You try and contact them, but no luck. You have just been scammed!!! What to do? Create a report at scammed.us When you create your report and list the subdomain as ACMEDESIGN a subdomain is then created for you http://acmedesign.scammed.us Get it? ACME DESIGN SCAMMED US. Brilliant I know!! Not only are these scammers reported, but a subdomain is created about them, so now if someone does some research about ACME DESIGN they will see that Acme Design has scammed someone before. Its simple and easy. Its also very satisfying to file a report about someone who scammed you as well. WARNING!! All reports will be researched and all reports should have as much info about the scammed deal as possible. This site won't become some personal attack site, but a place where people can research and find out who has been scammed and avoid being scammed in the future. That is a great idea. Yes, I have been scammed once, but for little money. I would like to see that idea grow and become into site that helps the people.
Unfortunately I have been scammed too, more then once. The biggest was 6000$ lost because of PayPal. I sold mobile phones in bulk on ebay, the buyers chargedback and said they never recieved them. Although I gave tracking information with confirmed reciept they gave back the money to the buyers and my account became -6000$ (because money has been withdrawn). This was a hard lost. About your site: it´s always a good thing to have something something to search for services or similar things you wanna use but are not sure if eveything is legit with the service. Good thing

Nice site there. I haven't been scammed, but what I would advise is to never pay anything upfront ever. I do design work and I never ask anything up front from a client (they are free to leave whenever). They do pay before they get the work but I show them what I'm doing so they do know that I am working on their project. And I communicate well. If someone is asking for stuff up front, is really tough to reach and get a hold of then drop them. Skinny
Sign up and file a report about him them. The sooner scammers realize we wont take the crap the sooner they cease to try and abuse people!

I'm sorry but I think I still own copyrights of the Scammed.us site. I made the whole site for a guy who was looking for a coder at ProgrammingTalk: http://www.programmingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=32484 He paid me 10 % in advance, but after I finished the job, he stopped replying my messages and never paid the rest 90 %. The domain is absolutely amazing. I am amazed how brandable that domain is, you could probably sell that domain for quite a bit especially with a little development.
I really like the site, the scammers really get me. I receive loads of the Nigerian scam emails each day and if I wasn't using spam filters I'd be tearing my hair out. Anything that names and shames these crappy individuals has got to be a good thing. Great work, just hope you own the rights to the site, this domain could be worth something.
