Which site to spend $200 on?

I've got two sites (for the purposes of this decision anyway) that I have.

One information type site brings in ~$3-400 a month on adsense, ranks well on Yahoo, but not on Google - it needs backlinks or something to give it a bit of a kick up on Google then it has the potential to be a $1000 a month site.

The other is a forum and has a really bad eCPM with adsense - virtually 0.5% of the info site. Now I've just switched the ads to aution ads to see if I get a better return than with adsense, but Im also considering installing vbSEO and maybe either some small paid links with the change or maybe some paid posting.

My dilemma is this - I've got about $200 to spend but can't decide which site to spend it on... The older, better earning site - or the newer, smaller and (IMHO) the site with the better longer term potential?

    What would you do?

    Hi Lyndon,

I think you've answered your own question: 'the site with the better longer term potential'.

If your other site is making you steady money without much input then go with the newer site. Sounds like you're more into the newer one at the moment so trust your instincts and go with that.

    Good luck,

    Cheers, p.

I would spend half half. Also I would use the better one support the other.

You could use the older site that earns money to help pay for the new site.

I have to agree with every one. Place $100 for each because the site thats bring in income will pay for the other. Please post what have you done plus the outcome.
