Fake PR?

Hey,

All of a sudden, one of my forums on my board have got a pr2 http://focused.org/proxies/ . This is strange because the home page is also a 2, and no other links have a PR.

What's happening?

You should be happy on this both of your page is PR 2.

Use this tool to check fake PR http://digpagerank.com/index.php?url=www.bbxchanges.com&dc=1.

 

You've got a few people linking to this page. You also may have a lot of visitors to that page and maybe that's helping (who knows with Google?). This could bump the PR up for the page.

 

But it says fake in dig pagerank.

 

i think there are web sites which are linking to your site.

did you search the backlinks of that page?

 

its is indeed FAKE.

coz its redirected from your homepage.

There is no need for any tool to check fake PR. Howver you need some common sense.

just check: info:http://focused.org/proxies/ in google

you will get focused.org, that means it redirected from homepage.

 

What do you mean it's redirected from the home page?

 

About Dig Pagerank it's showing the pagerank is fake if the website is NOT indexed in google or the specific URL you are checking the PR for.

 

Try using White Hat SEO techniques instead of trying to take shortcuts. Maybe it takes more time, and the gratification isn't instantaneous, but it's a much better choice than playing SERP games....

 

I didn't do any SEO at all, nor try and cheat PR. It just turned into a PR2 and I was shocked.

Still don't understant how it turned into a pr2.

 

same as me friend...my site on the main page are dont have page rank...but the second page, they have PR 2 bcouse i know, my home page have a static article which mean most people dont make link to it..

until now, im still confuse bout that..
