Definitely, good luck to us all. I'm trawling the forums to see if there's any reason for my sites' recent bad showing and it looks like there's lots of people in the same boat.
Just for your info, my site is back in the index and ranking as always, So just give it time to recover and keep on optimizations. Good luck
saw4trailer.com is penalized, it doesn't show up when you search for saw4trailer I've got a couple of sites penalized like that for almost 4 months now.
Doesn't show on any of the DCs I checked on random, or the one I access by the default when I go to Google.
I am out for months.... First time I got back after 1 month, now I am out for 5 I dont know what is a problem, I suspect its proxies that steal my content, so Google find my site duplicated, but I dont have enough technical knowledge to fix that, so I hope something else is in case, and Google will bring me my 2k daily visitors back .......some day
just wanted to let everyone know that i have returned to number 1 for my keyword and on my first day back i got more hits then i ever had before and a $20 adsense day! GL to the rest of you!!
Welp my reign at number #1 was lost again and ive dropped out of the top 100 once agian. it has to do with the SERPS being updated
It was the same with me...on Sep2nd my site was on top and the next day, it went off not even in the top 100 pages. I've read some other threads that penalizing on the directories is going on. This may be a reason for our SERP drop. I submitted my site in Alive Directory on Aug 12th...they have approved it on 16th...but my site SERP drop was seen from Aug13th. I'm unable to come to a quick conclusion over this SERP drop.
Hi, it is not uncommon to be indexed and de-indexed from Google search. But if you have been doing white hat SEO, it should be fine. Your site should return after a while. But it could also be because you lost some powerful backlinks along the way so make sure to check that also.
just heard that googles going through a pretty hectic time and that they are updating serps all the time. well be back
I saw some weird activity with one of my sites recently. It disappeared from the results (normally on page 1 for this particular phrase) for 2 or 3 days then it came back. After a day or two I was noticing my stats dropping and so I checked the search results and it had disappeared once again. That was day before yesterday, today it is back on page 1. Very disconcerting when the biggest part of your traffic comes from google searches!
Don't worry, I'm having the same problem with one of my sites. My rankings are fluctuating from page 1 to page 4-5 on a DAILY basis. It's frustrating, but I deal with it.
How you MAY rank for 'saw 4 trailer' is: 1) Place "Saw 4 Trailer" at the front of the page title not in between. 2) Make up your mind as to what keyword you wish to rank for, is it saw 4 trailer ? or saw 4 ? Since the anchor texts that I see you have used in this forum is just by using "Saw 4" 3) Get some variants of backlinks (there are too many places now to get them from) and vary the anchor text keeping "Saw 4 Trailer" as the main one. 4) Also: The number of people competing for the keyword "Saw 4 Trailer" is much, much more than "saw4trailer". Hope that makes sense. But you already knew what I said didn't ya ? I don't like PMs, so kindly don't PM
Had 3 of mine drop out for 48 hours and then whoosh, were right back where they were - no ranking improvement or worsening.
Oh you have to have real patience with Google. My site has dropped 5 weeks ago (when the first serp changes appeared) and is still not back.
