It is 10 for an established member. Bear in mind some offences attract more infractions than others (eg. duplicate account = 10) and some serious infractions will never expire. If you get 10 infractions you will remain banned until at least one of those has expired.

I thought it's 10 for all members. If not, how much for "Peon's" and such?

I believe bright green members (you know what I mean) need to rack up fewer infractions during their probationary period, although I could be mistaken.

I think they're getting banned real quick because quie a few of them are joining just to spam the site. I think spamming carries a higher infraction count and new users rather than established users tend to spam. But I'm not a mod so I don't really know...

The actual infraction guidelines say the same "if you're an established member..." I'm just guessing that the implication is that less established members have a different rule, but as I said I could be mistaken.

Definitely. I think it should be less actually. The more posts you have, the more familiar with the board you are which means you should know and follow the rules better.

I'd tend to agree with you there. Noobs tend not to read the rules (like I did not too long ago :D) but the last time I had a brush with the law I was told igonrance of the law is no excuse from it.

Post count has nothing to do with infractions. 10 points gets you banned - 1post or 20,000.
