Not bad I've been bulking a bit to much Can't wait for winter to bulk some more! Then maybe next summer cut back down I haven't even been blogging much at all lately
It's been an ongoing struggle for me.. When my wife got pregnant I was over 200lbs.. I am 5'10", so that did not look good.. I started a diet and weight training again about 3 years ago. The first 30lbs came off in about 8 weeks. I was on a diet of nothing but hormel cure 86 ham, stuffing and bread. Lots of protein and carbs. Now I have a lot of fruits and vegis in the diet. I'm not where I want to be yet, but for 36 years old at 5'10", I am at 175 to 180 on average. I'd like to hit around 195 or so, and get more muscle on. For a guy that sits on his ass all day, I figure I'm not a big fat pig, and I have a lot of energy. I'd really like to get more time in the gym. I only have 2 days a week to spend and usually end up on the chest, then get lax on the legs, end up on the legs, lax on the chest and so on.. I really need to get at least 3 - 4 days in so I can round out the work out... I figure winter will help with the bulking.. I tend to eat more and work out more. I've spent most of the summer riding a bike, and with the hot summer here in WI, I have found I am sweating off water weight and getting more toned than bulked... I spent a while doing drop sets and pushing myself to failure only to find that I was not gaining anything... I've never used a supplement, but am thinking that might be a way to go to get more protein. I tend to inhale complex carbs as I find they give me a lot of energy. Since I spend a lot more time on cardio, the carbs tend to help. Always looking for advice...
Work on a good split, such as Chest/Back/Legs/Shoulders/Chest,Arms 'my main split' Eat plenty of protein, multi vitamin, might want to try some creatine Build up a little muscle, then you can get a bit more advanced. 'such as once you stop making good gains'
Thanks for the advice.. Yeah a lot of my buds have mentioned creatine as well.. I will have to give that a try... You just get to a point where the gains stop.. Here we go... Nothing like tempting fate.
If you've never taken creatine before you'll love the results. First time is the best, be prepared for some possible bloat though Some do not respond to creatine, most however do in my experience. You can pick it up at Walmart even.
Are...you...tempting...me!!!!! You do know it doesn't take mush for me to call for a head surgen, right!!!
Walmart? hell.. They have just about everything now.. The bloat should be no new thing for me.. Cheese and Beer (the two things I seem to love the most)... do that to me... I'm not even pure bread Wisconsinite, and I love them both... I think I will stop at Wallyworld in the morning. Get me back on the forum posters union and you can use a pic...
I don't get it there, but I know some guys who do and have been happy with it. They even have bulk protein! I do buy protein bars from there, get them by the box Usually it's near the pharmacy, vitamin area
I just checked their web site and found nothing but books on creatine. I guess I will have to stop buy the store... If not they have a health store in town. Thanx.
Draws water into the muscle in the simplest terms, allows you to work out slightly harder. Your body naturally creates it, simply giving yourself more of it
Never buy stuff from GNC or any health store. If you have CJ account, buy it on bodybuilding.com. They are selling stuff cheaper than outside and there is a $25 off $200 coupon. You also get 10% back for commission (i check with them, they said it is ok to buy with your aff link as long as you don't use it for yourself only) I am using Cellmass as Creatine. Also taking BCAA and CLA. Muscle mike twice a day.
hmmm... the hair - check the shirt - check the pants - check the pose - check Do you have a white belt and maybe a white watch band? My son use to say he wasn't emo, but looked almost exactly like you. So I am a bit confused. Is there something different? Like maybe you listen to screamo? (all the emos listen to screamo around here...)
