Paid to fill out surveys? Does it work ?

    Hi,
I work from home and I was just looking to earn some extra income. Anyway I sit in front of the computer all day so why not?
I was investigating if filling out surveys really work or not. I know I won't be making thousands a month, I'm not even expecting to do that. Just a little extra to send my mother overseas. To her it would be a lot.
I have signed up for the ones that free to join. All I got is spam in my email. I got like $5 to sign up but after that just junk.
I was wondering when you pay to join is it worth it ? Anybody had any experience with it ?
    Here what I found: http://www.topsitereviews.info/12google1/psur/psur.html?google=paid%20surveys&gclid=CK3-4OP4iY4CFRPdPgod_xZCDA#reviews

Thier are a few good sites that pay per survey. Some pay by paypal and other send checks in the mail. You can make some extra money but not what people say about making a living.

Never pay for a list that is a scam. All sites are free and i would not do any survey site that offers raffles or prizes. They get paid very well to get people to do the surveys so you should get paid instead of a raffle.

Some are okay, but there are lots of those sites that require you give random people your credit card numbers to get things such as iPods or Xbox 360's - don't try these.

In my opinion those sites are scams. A real legitimate paid survey site will never ask you for anyone elses information. Nor will they ask you to buy anything or completee offers. If you join a survey site that asks you to complete offers (usually pages of them with the little check boxes) run away quickly and dont waste your time.

There are also survey sites that dont actually pay you for the surveys. Instead they enter you into some sort of sweepstakes or a "chance to win cash or prizes". In my opinion those are a waste of time.

Just remember that paid survey sites/companies want to pay you for your opinions. They will not ask you for money or any type of purchase.

the online work at home market is saturated with the scammers. I have all but given up on this but found some good info at mlmsupport.ws and tried the recommended paid survey.

don't see myself getting rich, but it does bring in a few extra $$ for my spare time effort.

I did this years ago. It was a major scam back then. Can't see how it has changed today. I spent a whole heap of time on this without seeing one cent.

    Col :)
