That's a good point. It can be hard to stay motivated with online marketing when you've got a day job to fall back on. When you're working for tomorrow's lunch you tend to stay a lot more dedicated.
good luck.. you'll soon find out how much more lucrative things can be when you dont have a 40hr/week day job in your way...
I will have you know SIR I did it , and I have 4 kids a wife and a 300,000 dollar home complete with mortgage! And I quit my job and loving it, all I have is my adsense account which is paying my way quite nicely now and I feel very secure in what I do! Seems like my previous residual income just keeps coming in and it got bigger and bigger until the money was so good I just couldnt resist! why work for someone else when their is a great program like Google Adsense!
Inspirational, man. I'm in pretty much the same position, but I've never had a job in my life. Can't take authority. Basically, I'm now saying "fuck jobs", and refuse to work for anyone but myself. Don't know which way to go though. Hey, keep the blog active. I will follow your adventure and I'm sure many others will too. Please write regularly and inform us about what's happening.
Well its been great I thank good for google adsense its eclipsed my YPN previous earnings and now I am laughing all the way to the bank! In fact I am doing so well that google adsense is going to publish my site as one of the successful business models! Not only that I have also planned a trip to Mexico! Me and a group of friends are going! What a trip it should be, look out cheap Cervasas her come the new guy in town!
Congrats on quitting your job, and it's good to hear you're getting by. I'd love to be in your position but I have a ways to go...
“You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. For remember, fear doesn’t exist anywhere except in the mind.†Dale Carnegie
That's very courageous!! Specially since Adsense it's not a sure thing, i read many times that google ban adsense accounts without valid reasons
Keep in mind that you can make about $12.00 an hour writing articles if you are smart about it and a quick typer. PM me if you are interested.
The trick to quitting your job isn't spending like you're going to work for the rest of your life when you start. So many people get themselves so deep in consumer debt the moment they land a great job they just basically signup for the t'ill 65 payment plan. The internet is an extraordinary phenomenon and it's only going to get better in terms of ecommerce. Ahh good times to be living!
What are you a Sierra Cheerleader, I think you better stick with yahoo , the internet is still only a eccommerceeee place for the elite like you and me don't share what we know to these guys they might be trying to cash in on our cash crop... No Fear? I would rather be crazy like a Fox than in like a lion and out like a lamb
Yep. I quit my job too. I am thinking about writing some ebooks about stuff I know and adding audio and video into the mix. I am thinking about doing some type of pre-launch deal where people pay for the entire collection of material upfront, and then they get the privilege to be the sole distributors of the product. Not some lame affiliate program either. They would get 100% of whatever they make and they would be able to mark up the price however high they wanted. I haven't pitched it to anyone yet, though. Let's say for example I made this content about SEO, and I limited the purchase amount to only 100 people. Do you think anyone would go for that? I am really just trying to think of a way to not have to get another job. I am tired of working for people that never really have my best interests at heart. I am very knowledgeable about the topic by the way. Also I have considered letting people put their own name on it, and soliciting content requests from the group of people that the purchase is limited to. What do you think?
Be your own boss. That's the way. At first could be slippery, but after that period everything will set right.
um.. you're supposed to quite the job after you're already making more and have some savings for at lest half a year
