It doesn't matter to me. My wife is about 8 months older than myself. One thing I absolutely hate is if someone tries to treat me like a child, that might come into play if I were to have married someone much older than myself.

Thats not old school at all fairyj. It is a mans responsibility to protect his wife and his family with his own life. If he doesn't he is not much of a man IMO.
