But, what should I do if I have a great idea but simply do not have the money to realize it?? Thats my problem. I have lots of ideas, but no ways to realize them...
What a load of baloney - that's more like 12 ways to waste time - "fine tune your mind", "write down your thoughts" "watch TV" - that's more like how to be a 14 year old girl. There's no substitute for original ideas, hard work, and ricdes is right, sufficient investment.
hey c'mon now...these are just ways to stimulate yourself to generate ideas...these are not the only means to get profitable ideas...you surely require enough money to invest to apply your ideas and in no ways i'm denying that...this article is to help people who find it difficult to find new ideas.
The idea that you can just come up with an idea and all of a sudden make a million dollars is almost always false. It has happened in a few rare instances, but generally it takes a lot of hard work to make it happen. Some of the largest, most successful companies in the world entered a fully developed market and did the same thing everyone else did, just a little better. One of these examples is WalMart, of which I'm not a big fan, but still.
You can't come up with a million dollar idea when you don't think like a smart business man. But if you watch business news (reuters is goood ), visit business news sites and read books about business you will start thinking how to generate more profit from this and that idea. It's exactly the same with internet. People who have come up with youtube myspace or skype couldn't think of these ideas unless they use the internet every day what makes them smarter using the internet for making profit.
Yeah you just have to keep exploring around, and observe the habits of the already wealthy. Honestly? any idea can generate millions if you know what your doing. I can make a website that advertises anything that's niche specific and make millions from it, as long as there is a need for it. I mean, how many sites does the website powerhouse "monster" have? they just pump out creative ideas like nothing.
Yep, you really need to jump into hobbies as a business person, grab onto the new stuff and really see what works and what does not, then improve on it with your own ideas. Look at Dogpile, its nothing more than a scraper(well at one time). Back in the day the owner seen a opening and created it. The revenue can not be complained about IMO. Then you have stuff like the dating market of the late 90s, that turned into the Myspace market of the 2000's, and that turned into videos sharing, etc.
You dont come up with a million dollar idea by doing all those things listed, if you do all those things youd be wasting time. Just do what you love to do and do it well. If your one of those people who just want money, save money and open a franchise near a developing suburb. Most great ideas werent thought up to make money so stop thinking about money.
PizzaHut, Yahoo, Amazon, and any other business, was not created for money? I dont think they created the businesses to avoid church on Sunday, and I know my last 3 business where not just a hobby, I needed to eat as well. One may like what they are doing, but at the end of the day its great to enjoy what your doing, but it is about business and money after all! My hobby is about building businesses, which is about money.
there's only 1 step - do something that has never been done before. It's that easy. (you can attack me now)
I dont believe the first two were made with the sole purpose of making money. Also the point I was trying to make was if you want a good "money making" idea dont think about money think about other things albeit your hobby, someone elses hobby, anything not to do with money. Then once you get a good Idea start thinking about how to make money off of it.
I will :] it's good to be original, and if you are completely original you may be successful? but probably not. Webmaster "A" has a beautiful website, with the best content on the internet. Everything on his page is picture perfect, but makes little sales Webmaster "B" puts on a cheap script that alot of people have, advertise to some appealing folks and makes a ton. that story happens more often than not. Oh yeah, and if you love business? you'll be successful guaranteed.
Yahoo infused itself with 5 million from a CV in 5 months from launching, and before they did that, they opened an office in 30 days after they got the idea of making Yahoo. In truth it only lives in their dorm room for a very short time. It was all business from day one! PizzaHat was a mom and pop biz, run by two brothers. At some point down the road they sold out the company logo, name, etc to an entrepreneur that turned it into a franchise across the street and put them out of biz. The brothers started the company because they were entrepreneurs as well, and wanted to make money and that was their business idea. Yes I think you should do what you love, but to many people look at only for what they love and go broke loving it. If you can’t make money doing what you love then keep it a hobby! I have two hobbies in life, starting business, and playing golf, but don’t expect to see me playing the PGA Tour any time soon!
for this particular article you are like a source for all the facts and figures...quite impressive and useful facts brought up by you...thanx for the information
Who told you it takes money to realize your idea? Guess you have not been watching CNBC's Big Idea. Good program to watch. If you have lots of ideas then start bouncing them off people. Yes you might loose a few or get nay-sayed . But, Ideas are free. I found the more people I bounced ideas off of the more interest I received from those who were able to help me realize my idea. BTW: Want to realize your idea? Take action. Good luck, keep plugging away. Don't ever give up.
I have to ask... Are you making a million dollars? Do you follow all these 12 steps? While they all sound wonderful, I think many can't be implanted in a regular business. Sounds like copied from some business major book or magazine.
Even though those businesses were designed to make money, i guarantee the brains behind those major businesses weren't focused on money, but rather, money is simply a barometer of how their business is doing. I don't think they're mentality is I'm only doing this to get rich. but rather but it was more like how can I make this business better? so even though money is important to any business man, I think they take more pride in their business and use money simply as a measuring tool of how successful their business/system works myyyy twoooo ceennnts [no dogs allowed]
