What makes a trusted forum member?

I guess lots of itraders and a high rep makes a trusted member because of the amount of time he has put here in DP.

 

I do not trust any member of dp no matter how much greens , posts, or i trader it has.
If i want to do business with someone then i personally check its background. However big business are not done on dp.
Previous pleasant experience is a plus in the member's trustworthiness.
The most reliable member on dp is in my opinion mario, or i do know now exactly the name, the guy with the lion avatar.

 

yea right, thats 10 members at best huh?

there are 10 and 20+ thousand dollar deals made on DP

 

In domain parking industry those are not much money.

 

I agree to check all these .
iTrader will show their past transections how they traded
Member Since will show how long he has been a member without being banned XD
Post Count will show the quality of their post
Reputation will show how useful and helpful he is (but i got low on this )
Few latest posts can see what kind of opinion he got.

check all these thing to find your own trusted member. I dont have all these yet but i'm sure i am one of the member you can trust.

 

registration date also counts, trust is something which develops automatically once you do good business with few members you are recommended, depends on how you complete your transactions.

 

You can't...sadly two different member with full rep bar, high itrader and post count removed my link before term expired..

 

Trust is a big word. But I try to trust others, even if I am also careful.

I would say quality of their posts before post count number. Someone can have 5000 useless, idiotic posts, that doesn't make them a good member. Id rather see someone who treats others with respect and tries to help with a lower post count than a jerk with a ton, you know ?

 

I do agree ...also would like to add - i-trader count and the joining date also matters and how active you are in DP also matters...but the best is to see the i-trader first coz. it is something which you can not collect easily..

 

Basically i think iTrader points and posts. If someone is a scammer it will be banned or caught before it reaches a certain level of iTrader points and posts.

Of course i dosent mean that someone with few post´s isnt trustful (like me for example, check my stats), but you have much more feedback from someone with reputation.

I also dough that someone with reputation of 250poins iTrader or +3000posts with some time and money (in business) invested in DP will scam someone... it will lose much more than it has to win by belonging to this community and the deals here.

For me specially good iTrader, but not just with trades and small stuff and the join date...
Old members usually like being here and won't scam you.
