I myself is trying to reverse some discoloration from all the years of exposure to the sun walking places (neck up). Yet, I find there are people who love to get a tan.
Ah, well Chanel was the one who made it popular back in the day People have their preferences and it's also influenced by the culture & media.
I don't find tans very attractive. The only reason someone should go tanning is to help with certain skin conditions, such as eczema, which can be treated with some tanning.
People often look better with a tan. However, the people who "go tanning" or use these ridiculous products, usually end up looking like that old lady from Something About Mary. Personally, I wear 45 SPF everyday!
You mean products that are used during you sitting out in the sun. Or products that make you tanned without the sun? Don't know if there are any... I suck at these tanning stuff.
Most of Thai people don't like tan skin. But for me, i don't care what color of skin i will have as long as i have healthy and nice skin, that's what i want more than worrying about the color of my skin.
I don't like tanning, and think I look better without a tan (plus, I burn easily). I think people look okay with a SLIGHT tan, but when the tan starts to get darker then I think they look like they've been in the oven too long. And I think that people with blonde hair and dark tans look like they're sick.
I play basketball outdoor 8-9 hours a weekend, plus i walk alot, my skin is totally dark. Many ppl think i am Mexican when they first see me. (big, fat, dark skin, shaved head)
how about this? http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.y...gan_knows_best_2_photos/hulk_hogan/hogan5.jpg fake tan looks......fake
Eh,a little too dark for me. But I'm talking about the light blonde girls who get really really dark tans ... to the point that they're almost black. Their darkdark burnt skin doesn't go with their light blonde hair. Even worse when they put on bright make-up... An extreme version can be seen in ganguro kids - who for some reason see it as fashion. (Hello skin cancer)
Here in UK i like my chicks tanned and tunned. I think i look beter with tan too. The reason why Thai people don't like tan is because they are yellowish anyway.
Thai, yellow-ish? I think you mean brownish Yes, Asian culture sees tans as negative while the westerns love it (just from what I hear from my friends)
