Hopefully my new phone will work there. GSM networks blanket most of Costa Rica but I still saw several spots on the map south of Tamagringo showing no coverage. Its a crap shoot :)

Whats your favorite spot along the coast ? I know you like Nicoya, but whats your favorite beach Mike?

Santa Teresa is by far. It has surf all day long, beautiful women, nice beaches and great nightlife. Reminds me a lot to Pacific Beach, San Diego, only a lot cheaper (right now is off season and you can get cabinas for as low as 6 bucks a night).
I also have friends living in Montezuma, and it's nice, but has that hippyish vibe to it. Malpais is also cool, close to Santa Teresa and where I hung out with Mel Gibson the other day.

Lots of celebs come here, and when you're here it's not even a big deal. You see them party and do whatever they can't get away with in the U.S. while their bodyguards work overtime making sure nobody takes pictures. ;)

Yeah, Mel needs a break after all the shizzle he's got himself into last year. Its hard to get a DUI in Costa... hehe ~ So are those beaches in Santa Teresa lined by Palm Trees or Bushes?

Trees, not just palm trees. it's amazingly green here. Mango trees, pipa palms, coconut palm trees. Great feel. Lots of beachfront property has not yet been developed. We're now working with some property owners to get that done, but keep Costa Rica Costa Rica (green construction). We had tsunami alert the other day, everyone left town. Except me and a few others who missed the news.

LOL me and Calbert had that stuff running all night for like 8 hours. Then we had the occasional power outages and internet going down so we decided to download only when we're in our office in San Jose. The only thing you can do online in Santa Teresa is check email and hang out on DP.:D

that sucks, cause here we pay so much. I can't believe that a rich country like the US pays less than people here. Average Ticos make like 400-500 dollars a month. Many cannot afford a car and if they can they pay so much on gas, it's hard for them to make a good living.
