here is the thread for 6000 free directories http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=433205#post4084824 but the best piece of advice is to submit to 10 paid directory with strong internal page rank. The following directory have few free directories too: www.topdirectorylist.info thanks
I hope that site isnt new... and i surely hope that submissions will be done threw out a few months as im sure you know that is a lot of directories to submit to within a few weeks as google may see it as spamming and X the domain regardless wish you success thx malcolm
I can offer you a few more links for a reasonable price and whats more they come with a water tight lifetime guarantee.
Have fun with that 8000. I have been submitting off and on all day and probably got a couple hundred in.
hey malcolm ... this is an interesting statement. Are you implying that new sites that are submitted to directories are flagged somehow? thanks in advance
I would be submitting the site in 8000 directories over a period of 6 months time. But i require a solid list of free high pr directories.
Solid list yes. But high pr no. Besides a few notable exceptions free directories are generally new directories waiting to go paid. Get in early, forget and watch your site crawl up the rankings
Hi Maybe you should make a team here in DP and share the submission work. You will save your time and money too.
Good point but not paticularly practical. Most of us are here to sell to rather than to save each other money. And as for saving time, that is another story.
Confirm you are looking for someone who will charge you to submit your site to 8000 plus free directories. If I am not mistaken the going price for submssions is 15c each, give or take. But I am sure you will find someone who will take a lot less as long as its paid in advance.
Yup, I agree here. You will find a solid list but not all directories in the list will have high PR. Also, some may change to Paid Directories, which a few might no longer be working. Some will have submission issues and a few more could be down for maintenance, or could not be taking submissions due to a huge backlog. The list can go on and on
Thats why you want a list like IVS. There is an active community that keeps it as up to date a possible. Forget PR. Its all but dead and buried.
Do you still think LOW PR directories submission help you ? do low/non PR backlinks helps you for getting better position ? better i will go for getting some backlinks from good PR sites related to mine either by exchanging or paying. [ hope i m not wrong ]
Its really very tough to get such a huge directory list 8k.And if ur clients site is old and already submitted to directories then it will be again difficult.
I would stay away from the high PR sites until we see who is going to brazen it through the PR meltdown. But to answer your question I know at this point in time, that "no PR" links get counted. I work with them every day and regularly get page #1 ranking for non-competive terms. PR is just a sales gimmick. Always has been
@workshop : That mean directory submission will help no matter whether it is LOW/none PR, Right ? Thanks in advance
