Someone help me to establish a professional blog.

Hi,

I own many sites but I never had a good blog. I read a lot of inspirational books and i wud like to post it on my blog. right now i have - http://kdeepak.typepad.com but i feel that there is no point in paying $5 per month to type pad.

i also admire this blog - www.bestcpanetwork.com and i guess it works on word press.

i want someone to help me out..

Go to any domaun registar grab a domain say kdeepak.com and tajke any cheap webhosting...IX webhosting will be best i think $3 pm..sometimes webhosting companiues provide free domains so no need to buy domain separately in that case...install wordpress in your host in desired folder...all hosts have 1 click install feature...use some good themes..plugins...to optimize your blog n start posting.....

Don't bother with typepad, that's a freaking ripoff. Rule #1 is to do it for free Wordpress can't be beat.

I think a tip is to mix text content with Youtube videos, interactivity, a little controversy, and user feedback.

I wouldn't say youtube videos would help towards the "professional" blog. The other things, though, yes.

 

yeah loose typepad its a rip off and opera users cannot post comments, use wordpress.
get a load of links coming in, and comment on loads of other blogs.
