I added a new ad group to a compaign 1-2 days ago, it says its active and all the keywords are fine, and it still hasn't made any impressions yet. The only problem i may be able to think up is that another ad group in the campaign has been deleted. Any clues?
My previous ad group had a bid about 10x lower, was using similar keywords, yet was performing fine. So thats why im confused about this one
Thanks for those links but unfortunately my problem hasnt been solved. Whats confusing me, is it that isnt a new account (therefore doesnt have to be activated), i'm using a similar ad to the one i used before (but using higher bids and higher daily budgets), the ad status says its Active.... so as far as i can see, nothings wrong.... but obviously something is
It could be one of two things. Firstly you whole account could be in review. They did that to mine and all ads stopped working for a few days, I had to call Google Adwords in Sydney to find out why. I'm not sure where your located but find the local support number and call have your client id ready. Second thing is to just change one little thing of one ad e.g add a extra full stop to one line and re-save it. and see if it gets re-submitted I do that sometimes when ads don't work. Let me know if you need any further help. Regards
Thanks selltrib, was going to follow your advice, but when i went into my account i first had a message saying that my billing details are temporarily unavailable... then my whole account stopped and login page (entry page) froze while loading everytime... and now the billing message is back. This had only just come up now, while the ad problems have been happening for a while. Is it me or is anyone else feeling this?
While your awating for the billing page to come up might just be worth while finding your local support number and giving them a call.
I've just had that "billing details unavailable message", even though I wasn't trying to look at billing details - though it's alright now, it does suggest that there's been something a bit 'glitchy' at their end.
