    Hello people,

My page CTR seems a little less then what it used to be. no sharp decline. its around 2.75%. But the Page eCPM is $0.71 it used to be 1.5 or something..

Do any of you have the same situation?

Is it because of the new Smart Pricing thingy?

It very well could be, but I would wait a day or two and see if things go back to normal. Also, keep in mind that it is against the AdSense TOS to publish anything other than your final earnings.

Many people are claiming these days getting less eCPM from adsense.

With relatively low CTRs and low paying ads, variations in eCPM are in the "noise level." It would be difficult to attribute a variation of $0.74 to any particular reason or trend.

In my case, eCPM improved from July through current August. But, if I remember correctly, it was up and down in May/June. Cyclic changes are normal and should be expected -- like the weather, the stock market, and women's moods.

In some cases, it CAN help you more. If you notice it going lower, check your site, see about the MFAA ads that may be starting to creep in. Filter them (even if you have to empty others out of your filter) I do this and EVERY time, I get my eCPM back up and also my earnings.
