Yep, down again. I was just working with AA and down again. I'm done. If anyone wants to partner up building an alternative pm me.
I didn't notice any ad interruptions yesterday or today. The AA site was unavailable for while. That's all.
If your timing was right, and you only checked the main site a few times a week, then I could actually see someone believing that... I bookmarked my "account home" to save a few clicks, and there have been days where I got the white page enough times to check to see if other parts of the site were in order. What I have found odd is that most of the times my ads are running correctly when the main site is down...I reckon that would be due to different servers *shrug*
Has anyone been making money recently with AA? My click-through rate is down to 0.2% or less and I've had the grand sum of 4 cents from 71 clicks. I think I'll ditch them at the end of the month.
Sounds like you need to rethink what your visitors are interested in. My CTR rate is abysmal, but it's on a forum - where CTR is usually pretty bad regardless of what you put there. It could be that the ebay fever has toned down. Maybe you can re-instigate it, or perhaps it is a good time to replace the ads for a while and try again in a few weeks.
My CTR was around 1.5% until mid-July when everything tanked. Since then it has been about 0.4%. A sudden change like that is obviously not a visitor issue, it's a tracking issue. I have removed AA from most pages, just keeping enough to monitor how it does. It's been over a month with clicks apparently under reported. How convenient for somebody. It looks like a scam to me.
I was getting several hundred clicks per day and earning several hundred $$/month - suddenly, when all these tracking issues and "404 errors" started, my clicks dropped to 3 or 4 per day.. Hardly a visitor issue IMHO.. I ditched AA for the last few weeks and just added it back today to see if they've worked things out.. But i'm not holding my breath..
