Hi, I am after a new logo for a site called "Fine Coding" - a site like www.design2markup.com where we get designs and code them. Color scheme on the site is blue and green, so any colours which work well with them are cool to use. Payment is $25 for the winning design via paypal Let's see what you can come up with!
Nice. It looks a bit cartoony - more professional and it's pretty much perfect. Perhaps try a similar font, but one thats more "boring" and "professional" Here is the site design: Obviously the gradients are smooth, image isn't the best quality
By the way, I am not going to render another version since I have to get ready to goto work. But, I can match the colors of the site design. Just while I was making it, I don't think the image loaded or something so I didn't know the exact color scheme!
Some feedback! Onix - More professional colors - pale yet strong. Chris - No colours are pretty good, concept is same as others Danie - Same with onix - more professional colors Ektz - No idea what that is, but its good. Its a unique concept which is nice. Something unique that is more related to coding would be good (or atleast looks cool) Kittie - Looks good, after a logo though not a header! Would make coder a solid colour rather than its present colours. Font is good one, old school business but still looks modern when used right Mitcharr - I can't see any difference in the font sorry Everyone: - Unique concepts! Doesn't have to be directly related to coding, aslong as it looks good (although if it was related it'd be good... if you have no ideas you can play with FC (for Fine Coding) Feel free guys to make a logo that contrasts with the site design. If its blue and green aswell the entire site will be blue and green and nothing will really stand out. Contest is going well so far!
These type of "strong/bold" colours: http://delicious-daim.deviantart.com/art/orgoo-39667515 Some of these: http://tit0.deviantart.com/art/logos-46397948 http://whyred.deviantart.com/art/bango-logo-29383958
Chris - along the right track but not what I'm looking for. Something bigger, more bold (mainly font wise, fine is hard to read) Bangalore - not the style I am after sorry, thanks for taking the time to make a logo up
Here is an entry that I thought of after looking back on a technology website I made in highschool for a project, the concept was different, but one aspect made me think of this idea. I played with FC for a little bit but it looks better not spelling anything out.
Mike, nice. I can't think of any suggestions really... just playing around with font colours and styles. One of my favs so far
