It appears that Google disabled adserving to my site for "overblending" Now if I were to redirect that traffic to a mirror site (with Google Ads) would that be against the TOS? I have emailed them this question, but they don't reply much anymore. I have removed most ads except for one skyscraper so that I don't make the same mistake twice. Also, what are the implications of the SERPs when i redirect like that? All comments encouraged!
How are you "redirecting"? Are you creating a link, or are you doing a 301 or 302 redirect? The latter could get you into trouble.
I had a site I used a 302 redirect on and got sandboxed by Google in a matter of days. Won't do that again.
Redirect taken off. Too risky. I suppose redirecting via outbound links is an option, but that'll hurt in the SERPs for sure. No easy answers. Thanks for solving one of a few problems
hey 1 minute, do you own the mirror site. Are you using adsense in the mirror site. It might create problem for you again.
I missed the "mirror" part of the original post. If this is the same site as the first one, how in the name of all that is green do you think you are not going to get banned for this one, too?
Nice I was reckless where i placed my code. I'm an idiot. I got lucky ,then blew it. Now I have only one ad unit on the new site. I'm learning that mirroring is never a good idea. I think the best thing is to shut the new site down so i don't risk a whack in the SERPs. I had 53k uniques last month. I hit the niche, then, blew it.. i digress
i am redirecting my one domain name to blogspot blog but it was not banned URL , i am forwarding my domain to that bog , dont know how this will against TOS ....... any way you don't use that your banned domain to redirecting, the reason was not related your domain ... but think it was banned ... don't take risk , Google don't like illegal traffic like payed traffic site .
the obvious question here is why haven't they restored adserving to a site that is no longer in violation of the adsense tos.
He's able to base this on the pure intention of trying to boost his post count ---- I wouldn't risk it. Make a new site and start fresh if that's what you want to do.
