I admit, I do "occasionally" gain pleasure from death [vid]

Call me evil, but this video brought me some wonderful Monday morning bliss.

Watch this guy blow himself up while advancing Jihad.

    :)

Heh! That's the way it should be.

Lonely? Having troubles finding a woman who doesn't appreciate being beaten and ordered around? Looking for a personal haram of nice virgins? Blow yourself and ONLY yourself up.

I'd be perfectly content if they ONLY blew themselves up and not others.

Pretty disgusting man. While I understand the context and won't be mourning his death, if you take pleasure from his death or any other you should take a look inside yourself and figure out what's going on.

Fair enough - the first step is changing something is acknowledging it. Words of wisdom, no offense intended at all. It's understandable for people to take pleasure in the death of others in extreme circumstance like those in Iraq but it's still unhealthy and prompts the need for self-examination. Try meditation, it works absolute wonders.

Interesting, but what if my only acknowledgment is the fact that I have no interest in change?

And, what if I feel, obviously unlike you, that it is healthy for my future to want to destroy my enemy. In fact, I do take pleasure in watching their lives end. For I know who those rockets were targeting.

I don't know if you know who your true enemy is. Corrupt governments, both foreign and domestic, are the enemy of us all. Personally, I have more to fear from my own government than some insurgent in Iraq. Terrorists in the middle east don't have the ability to suspend the Constitution and take away our freedoms. The government does....

You seem to misunderstand the concept of freedom here. Whether you like your government or not, the fact of the matter is that in the U.S. people have a choice. Corruption in politics is something that exists, but how can you possibly put the United States government into the same category like a government that stands against the possiblity of ever doing what is right for its people?

LOL. It is obvious that you don't read history books very much, nor the person who started this thread. The U.S. government is more than just corrupt. It no longer follows the Constitution or Bill of Rights. A good example of this is the wiretapping by Bush without a warrant, which is a violation of the 4th Amendment. And lets not talk about the repeated violations of the 10th Amendment.

Also, lets remember that we put the brutal Saddam in power, and we armed the mujahideen. Our CIA has overthrown governments all over the world, and it has got many innocent people killed in the process. See, the difference between me and a lot of people is I actually read the REAL history of the U.S., not the sugar coated junk they teach us in school.

The United States is supposed to be a Republic, but we act like an empire, invading countries and overthrowing democratically elected governments around the world. We also specialize in putting third would countries in debt with gigantic loans they will never be able to pay off.

In the U.S., we have the "illusion" of choice. It only seems as if we are free. In reality, the average American has no say so in what goes on in the American government. For example, millions of Americans are against the NAU (North American Union) and yet Bush is at a summit this week pushing forwards with plans to merge the U.S. with Canada and Mexico.

The guy in the video, who blew himself up, was firing on our troops because WE ARE IN THEIR COUNTRY. What if someone invades your home and occupies it, but they tell you they are there "to keep you free." Would you welcome them?

assuming you are right ... what reason should there be to surrender to past mistakes? America is all about change, for the better. You are putting the U.S. into the same category with countries that don't allow any change at all.

If a sovereign country doesn't allow any change, that is their right. The U.S. has no right to dictate to them what to do, no more than I have the right to come to your home and tell you what to do. If the people of Iraq, or any other country, are tired of their government, they will do what the colonists did when the Thirteen Colonies were under the British.........they will overthrow them.

America's past mistakes are a result of not following the founding fathers. George Washington said to "stay out of foreign entanglements" and he was right. America needs to take care of America. Trying to make other countries embrace democracy doesn't work, and when you do it, you will face men just like in that video, who will fight and die for their way of life, just like I would fight and die to preserve my freedom if a foreign army invaded the United States.

That in itself is a statement that completely defies what human nature is about. yes, you can complain about a government, and many times America gets it wrong. But what matters is progress and in the U.S. it is there.

Pretty ironic that, while you guys argue about the need for change, it's the OP himself who said he has no interest in change :D

This is incorrect both ways. If good men seek to do nothing in the face of men that would do you harm, then terrorists could very well take away your freedom.

Our government, take away your freedom? Only in an alex jones controlled mind. This is about as alarmist as global warming.

Meanwhile, *real people* in *real countries* are having *real freedoms* taken away. We learned last week that Turkey closed off access to high profile blogs. Hugo Chavez has, this year, closed down media that was not in his favor. Then we learn he's voted himself in office for life? Freedoms are being lost in Darfur. Christians cannot practice their faith in Saudi Arabia. It's a crime to speak bad of islam in Spain.

Meanwhile, here in the US, there are those that want to feel victimized by saying they are losing freedoms, but never know what they have lost. Maybe the grass isn't always greener on the other side? Perhaps...just perhaps, the grass is quite green here in our own lawn?

Anyway...good riddance to the terrorist. Hope he gets 0 virgins for his dumb mistake!

I always worry every time I see Blogmaster posting in P&R mate. :(

He might have thousands of posts but P&R is definitely not his forte.

He just tends to mirror exactly what you say, just like d16man and The Webmaster does, amongst others :(

You seem to worry a lot about others. It's a shame you don't worry about yourself. For you do some of the very things you worry about others doing. Have you ever considered participating in the actual debate? Or are you just here to point fingers at everyone else?

This public service message is brought to you by a healthy dose of reality, courtesy of GTech.
