    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

A definitive answer: can we have adbrite and adsense on one page?

Hello, I've asked google in january and they said NO.
I've read DP and some people say yes you can, either with only using AdBrite rent-a-space-on-my-site feature or using the network ads "because it is not content-targeted"

Well I asked Google another time in march, pointing out specifics forum urls where the matter is being discussed, and the answer is: "our answer hasn't changed, using AdBrite on the same page as google isn't allowed"

here's the exact phrasing: "Thank you for your email. According to our programme policies, Google ads may not be displayed on anywhere on a site that also contains ads from AdBrite on any page. AdSense policy does not permit Google ads to be displayed on the same website as ads that mimic or attempt to be associated with Google ads."

So what is your experience with asking google about this? Not your opinion or what you are doing on your site, but what google reps have answered to you about this topic.

Yes you can use adbrite but you must opt out of the network ads as they are deemed contexual, so basically potential advertisers would only come from your site anyway. According to my adsense rep.

I got the same answer as yours James.
They said I can not use adbrite along with adsense, even when I pointed out on some sites which were using both.
Adsense team sometimes leave me with surprizes.

no it's ok, when i asked this question, things weren't the same. now the answer is yes as long as the adbrite doesn't look too much like your adsense ads.

Yes it is sure. This thread is very old and it was an issue when adsense's TOS was saying we couldn't use contextual ads, but nowadays the only restriction is not to have ads look the same as adsense's text ads (colors).

If Google does not allow to put adbrite or any other publishing networks ads then we have to respect there rules its better not to put any other ads other than adsense. it will be secure for us from getting banned.
