All species of spider bite, just that some species fangs are not powerful enough to penetrate human skin.

Yikes! We had way-too-big-for-my-taste (not to mention my sanity!) spider show up this last week on our balcony - right on my daughter's bedroom window! I had my dh get rid of it so she wouldn't freak out. I thought he'd get her in a bucket and take her downstairs - but, no! He got a broom and just ....TOSSED - her into the yard downstairs! Ack!

He kept saying she is going to come back for me! Because, of course, she knows WHO wanted to get rid of her!

And she came back last night!!! Now she is away from dd's window, so we are leaving her be, though. And thank goodness, she's away from the door. Last year we had one right near the door - so you kind of had to duck to get out - or you'd wind up pulling her web down. Or maybe that was just me being a scaredy cat.

Anyway - I just went outside to get a pic for ya'll - but, I forgot - they hide WAY up in the corner during the daylight hours. So will have ds shine a light on her tonight and try to get a pic.

This has been a very interesting, comical, and creepy thread! ;)

I hate spiders too, we got a lot out here, black widows, brown recluse, wolf. I keep a gallon of spray that melts a spider on contact, comes in handy sometimes.

Forgot to take a pic last night of our spider - tried it this morning by myself - but, I really need someone else holding a light. The pic didn't come out very well
