    Hello - I check the popular link search on submit express and found that my websites have some links on Yahoo! AllTheWeb AltaVista MSN but none
    on google. What to do now ? I submit my sites to all the search engines together including goggle . Why no link on google but have links on other search engine ?

    How old is your site ? If your site is very young and Google last updated its backlinks before your site was formed, then your site's backlinks wouldn't show

    go to Google and type in link:www.yourdomain.com to see if google has indexed your site, if you have pages in google the chances are next pr update it will show some backlinks.

    Hi,

    To view the back links of your website, search the keyword "back links" of Google and yahoo. Back links software are available in google and yahoo top search engines. :)

    Personally - I would stay patient - this being a powerful keyword in itself.

    The same problem is with my site. Yahoo shows that there are backlinks and google does not. Actually there were three backlinks that google recognized but now those three have dissappeared too.

    I discovered that one of my sites has the same problem. Yahoo shows that there are 319 backlinks whereas google shows zero backlinks. There used to be about 3 backlinks from google but now they have all dissappeared.

    @cher, if you site is new just be patient and build a backlink to your site. the best way to get index faster is thru social bookmarking.

    @ourktm
    Does your site still indexed by google if yes, the reason maybe is due to google backlink update.

    I have friend who's site is suddenly disappeared from google but in a week the site back from gogole serp.

    Yes I still have indexed pages of my site in google. More than 2000 pages are indexed and still there are no backlinks for my site. I hope that the backilinks of my site appears back on google just like your friend's did.

    The link:site operator is notorious for showing only partial results. You can not count on it.
    A better idea of Google backlinks can be found by using Webmaster tools. You would need to open an account there (it sounds like you haven't)...but to be sure, Google updates backlinks only periodically, so recent ones may not appear.
    Another reason Yahoo, etc. generally show more backlinks is because they index links with rel=nofollow. Many large sites and most blog comment links will use this on outgoing links, so they count with Yahoo but not Google.

    Don't worry about number of backlinks rather concentrate on getting it with anchor text so that you can rank better. You can use various
    tools available for checking backlinks just google for it but none will give you exact figure. :(

    Have you tried submitting through your web hosting company? Sometimes they will offer to place your url as part of registering a new url.
