About Search Engine Companies

Hello,


I have seen a dozen of SEO companies who claims that they will optimize your site so that it will reach in Top 10 in Google. But why are they doing this if they are that confident then why cant they build sites of their own and do the SEO and become number one in every field so that they can earn more than what they get from SEO business.

Please post ur views on this...

Doing sites to rank for diferent markets on top is costing A LOT.
Seo companies will be ruined if they put all their workers to work at the same time for their on house projects.

It also takes too much time, and it;s more easy to work for companies who are ready to pay BIG and brign them to top.

 

If they are sure that they can achive Top 10 Placement for a site then spending some time and money makes some sense isnt?

 

Example: ford is having a lot of money they make cars...also the furniture industry is big...THEY DON"T MAKE FURNITURE

The same can be applied to seo companies. Doing a good service is better than diversifying which can make you lose focus from the main business.

 

Good Example you are right... Now another example came to my mind.... Why cant this apply to Google... Its their Search Engine so they can place their own ads for all keywords and put their affiliate links but they are not doing that..

Make a website and market around it;s market with niches...don't leave your market because you will loose the target

 

what makes an SEO meaningful or should i say effective if you cant rank your page in Top 10??

 

Because in the end its just a business, and they probably dont do any of the work themselves and just hire employees anyways - I am sure they all own their own sites as well.

 

Yeah i can SEO, i've ranked sites page one for some of the toughest terms on the net like "web design". Yeah i rank my own sites, search "SEO Company" and im #4 on Google.com however.. I'll be honest im hopeless at monetizing sites. Organic SEO is what i know, love and do well so for me thats the answer to your question.

 

if a company says you about being "Top 10 in Google", i think you must go away from that company.

 

Ok, here is my explanation.. I am pretty confident that I can place a site on the first page.. I am not talking about the most competitive search terms in the internet..
But the most competitive search terms in my clients industries so far.
We used to guarantee top rankings by not charging to our clients for the month we do not get the ranking we agreed on..

Here is an answer to your question..
- You need to find a right product/service with a reasonable price to sell which is not easy.
- My job is Internet marketing not selling items..I can only do affiliate marketing besides SEO...or other internet marketing services..
- SEO is a very labor intensive team work. It takes 3-6 months to get some decent results..I personally can not dedicate my team to work on our own projects for 6 months without making any money.
- We started to do some SEO on an affiliate site which start to cover some of our business costs..
- We do spend some time on our own SEO projects like you mentioned on your question.

I totally agree with you on my answer.......We need to make money to be able to survive first..then deal with in-house projects,,,
